We will humiliate, embarasse, destroy, eradicate, wipe out, annihilate, obliterate, crush, slaughter, trounce, massacre India on the 17th.

From our side, we'll just focus on winning the game. It's just another game of cricket and we'll be far far away from anything like humiliate, embarasse, destroy, eradicate, wipe out, annihilate, obliterate, crush, slaughter, trounce, or massacre Bangladesh.

And if we lose, we'll gracefully thank you guys for having played well and better than us.

Now may the best team (India) win :).

thanks for your wishes...we return them to you as well.

even if we win, i don't know how much it will be enjoyed as bittersweet it will be with rana's death. and guys like mashrafee and razzak and rasel were all friends with him and played on the same FC domestic team so they will be shattered.

DJ please delete my quote. Thank you.
Nothing seems so important after the tragic news that the entire nation is trying to cope let alone the cricket team and fans.

You can win by 10 wickets or by 200 runs I really don't care that much now.

I think tomorrow the players will think the same and we will not even compete...

My Condolences to Manjurul's family, friends and fans. May his soul rest in peace.

That said, BD team in general may look upon Sachin for some inspiration here. He got the news of his father's death and went on to score a match-winning 100 and devoted it to his father.

On a side note, BD team's biggest advantage in this world cup is they are the team to look out for - a very impressive run and a very impressive year. That, IMO (in my opinion) is also it's biggest disadvantage - that no team can afford to take it lightly anymore.

Hopefully we can use the news as an inspiration and win the game for Rana. Our players are true fighters and they will fight for their country and a teammate tomorrow.

My deepest condolences on the demise of Manjural Islam Rana, sympathies to his family and all his fans. May his soul rest in peace.

Just wanted to quote you guys, the official publishing from Bharat Army's group mail (like Barmy Army, this is a fan group which follows India on their tours)

"<table bgcolor="#0772c0" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="700"><tbody> <tr bgcolor="#0772c0"> <td height="10">
</td></tr> <tr bgcolor="#0772c0"> <td>http://gfx1.hotmail.com/spacer.gif (javascript:ol('http://www.bharatarmy.com/?utm_source%3dwc2007%26amp;utm_medium%3demail');) India play Bangladesh on Saturday March 17th in a must win tie. Bangladesh have the firepower and the batting prowess to upset any nation in the tournament. Just ask Australia and Pakistan! Not withstanding this, India remain clear favourites for victory.
</td></tr></tbody></table>
Thats as official as it can get, on what most of the Indian fans think about Bangladesh :). We are not taking Bangladesh lightly, you guys earned the respect and as a fellow cricket lover i look forward to a exciting match tomorrow, though i favor and know India will win ;)

Will pop in tomorrow in the match thread.

Cheers !
