There was another close game we played, although it didn't look that close on paper (scorecard), despite being a thriller. The first match of the Independence Cup celebrating Bangladesh's silver jubilee of independence between BD and India.

thanks for mentioning that match Carte. That was a great match. I think we were 22 for 4 before Bulbul and Sujon put up a great partnership and took us to about 180 odd. Then we got some early wickets and kept ourselves in the match till quite late. I think India won in the 47th over in the end, but in reality, for a long long time, the match could have gone either way. It was a great match because we fought back brilliantly after being 22 for 4. Wow, that was almost six years ago!

That was an amazing innings by Aminul Islam... wish he had played some more of those... he was a good batsman... really good :)
