Dav might need some more experimenting, but we pretty much know our sure ODI and Test players.

ODI
1. Hannan
2. (empty)
3. Rajin
4. Sumon
5.Kapali
6. (empty / Taposh)
7. Pilot
8. Rafiq
9. Masri
10. Taposh
11. (empty)

Some might disagree with me about position 6 that Tushar is a sure there, other than that, I think these are players we all will agree.

This looks pretty good. All we need is a opener, a middle order and a strike bowler. If Nafis and Talha joins, we might get lucky there. Only left is a solid middle order where Tushar played last match.

Test
-----
1. Hannan
2. Golla
3. Sumon
4. (empty / Ash)
5. Rajin
6. (empty)
7. Pilot
8.(empty)
9.Rafiq
10. Masri
11. (empty)

Some will disagree with me me on position 4 to call Ash sure there. Also many will think kapali is a must in position 6, however, I dont think kapali is a test batsmen, look at his batting in last 2 serise.

Now, this still look bad. We have 4 empty slots and Not enough options. position 6 is a very importent position and dont see any with test temperment unless we stick with Kapali despite his test batting inability.

position 8 is currently wasted by El Capitan, Musfiq might be a good option there. Or we can use it to get a main bowler like Monjur/Taposh.

Position 11 is very importent and we badly need a partner for Masri. Sharif was ok, but BCB has distroyed his career (someone should be punished for this). Talha might turn out good, thats a chance we have to try.

These are all my openions. Feel free to share. I think we need to use this formula and only experiment in the empty slots unless one of the sure one go in a real bad form.

Maybe it's time to call up Bikash Ranjan Das again.

talha and sharif are still kids. Give them some time.

Isn't Alok a better test type batsman than One dayer?:-/

what do you think about Rajin as opener in one-day?

Alok actually is a better odi Player then a test player. He did very badly in the 5 test matches in the last 2 months. On the other hand, he was top scorer in the odis against Australia and has been playing well against Pakistan in the odi's as well.

For one dayrs, Mushfiq could be a useful replacement for Shujon.

Dav will have to look at this few groups:

OPeners: Nafees Iqbal, Al Shahriar Bidyut, Mehrab Hosein Opee, Moniruzzman, and Javed Omar Belim Golla.

Strike bowlers:
Manju (too old? he is not getting any better)
Talha (too young? send to MRF training camp)
Tareq Aziz (only good in bd pitches?)
Sharif (how long is he going to be injured ? what was his injury ? where is he now ? Did BCB get him into some kind of rehab?)

Middle Order-
Ashraful - have his guru (was it Wahidul Gani?) have private sessions with him. Have a shrink work on his motivation and self-control.
Mridul - Get him in shape, the boy needs to lose some weight and get to working in our middle order.
Tusher - another talented fellow but lacks control.

Keeping:
Salim - back up wicket keeper/batsman.
Anwar - young and has a lot of experience in A/junior matches.

He already plans to have the bowlers have batting sessions. This will insure that the guys will stick around a little bit longer and provide suport to any of the middle order bats. Let's not forget the night watchman roles.

ODI

Hannan
empty
Rajin
Habibul
Alok
Tushar
Mashud
Mahmud
Rafique
Tapash
Mashrafe

These have cemented their places basically. Tushar and Tapash are eratic but usually perform. Mahmud is the captain, i think his place is guaranteed. An opener is all we need. There are a lot of options. Since Mushfiq is playing so well i think Mashud could be given another chance.

May be it's time to recall Biddyut/Opee.
