Not sure whether it was a good decision to request Dav Whatmore to continue until the Indian tour.
Dav looked completely off beat, mentally absent and disgusted at the Airport during the teams arrival from West Indies.
He was very blunt in his statements to journalists (Asked in which part Bangladesh team needs improvement, he answered Batting, Bowling and Fielding!). He even physically pushed few journalist with his shoulders.
I am not convinced that he would be able deliver much during this series. BCB would be better of in releasing him with proper honor that he deserves and appoint a local Coach (Aminul Islam Bulbul could be a better choice) for this upcoming tour (As India did).

May be he was just having a bad day? Remember, tali khali ek hathe baje na. Knowing our people, I wouldn't be surprised if some of our management were rude to him. I really think his facial expressions are taken out of context here.

he has delivered before, so there's no reason to think he won't do it again.

They had a long journey. He probaby took a nap in the plain right before they landed in Dhaka. How many time have we been very moody and not wanting to talk mauch after we get up from bed?

I really do not know what was whatmore's attitude and responses with the reporters but the thing that I am mostly not sure, correctly speaking a bit scared off is the complacency that may grow among the team members. Specially Ashraful, Aftab, Rafique etc. As BD has already beaten a full strength India team they might take the new green team lightly. A "been there done that" attitude from the players will be the last thing this series needs.
