Not enough to heal yet, unless we show way better in 2nd test, at least win few more session in coming test.

Positive writeup indeed.

I think the batting display of the lower and lower middle order is perfect. This is what it should be always, so that our main specialist batsman can grow a bit responsibility to perform in test cricket.

Sigh!

Sakib , Pilot kisu parlo na.

1.Pilot should go. No question about it!

2.Sakib is just not cut for Tests. Bring back Aftab or Tushar.

3.Mashrafe's fireworks are all wet!

4.Rafique is no longer a Master Blaster. Sigh!

Koi astey astey at least 2 sessions khelbo, ar ki korlo !!!!!!!!!

Came in to watch the match a bit late. 20 minutes late to be precise. Expected around 5 runs to be added to last nights tally. I mean what could i miss, right? Instead i come and see this. Still speechless...

The same thing happened to me exactly. Finding the daruchini in offline mode, I went deseperately to cricinfo, only to find ..................................:hairpull: :(

Not happy but content with the 2nd innings specially after the 1st inning debacle. What happened on the fourth day morning is of no surprise to me. I knew it was coming.

Sakib is good.. i prefer giving him some more time.. but yeh .. Aftab would be good too.. his quickfire 35s-40s-50s..helps us a lot.. if we have like 80-1 or 80-2 rest of the pees feel good and they bat well..Anyway Rafique has really lost the touch in his batting.. :( but cant blame him.. he's doing good with the bowl..and he's getting old. Mashrafe..well he shud learn how to handle murali from ashraful, javed, bashar or rajin.. but not everyday he's gonna score 50s! and Khaled mashud.. pLease bring Mushy in for him.

Very very disappointing, ithought adding 50 more runs would be minimum target but no we couldnt even get half! Anyway I dont give a damn about that anymore because they will get more time to analyse performances and weaknesses with our own Technician Shaun Williams tommorrow. Lots of changes in the team have 2 b made, I knew that since Pilot came in(he will b no.1 on list 2 go, no offense) Sakib has 2 go 2, mayb Razzak as well?

Very encouraging report. Bangladesh did bat well and they would have been very god challengers if they were never 89 all out. Good luck for second test as they will have learnt their weaknesses by the start of 2nd test because shaun williams will show them in depth their weak points. encouraging then.

The writer probably started writing about our cricket. After few series, things will change.

It's a good article, but I refuse to seek a bit of pleasure from it after the embarassment.

Reality is, we've got a lot more to learn, and such a few more of such defeats are only going to put us back to where we started from - a non-Test playing nation.

I believe we already went back there. Back to the Past 2001.

I see a similar situation in 2nd Test UNLESS OUR STUPID SLECTORS DECIDE TO CHANGE THE TEAM !

Apart from
Mushfiq for Pilot
Mehrab Jr for Sakib or Bashar
Rasel or Sahrif ? for Razzaq

what other option do you think they have ?

Mushfiq for Pilot will get rid of a silly batsman, and add 1 to our batting lineup. It's guaranteed. Pilot is just a lollypop.

Mehrab Jr. cannot replace Bashar. Bashar must stay until the end of this series. And so does Sakib. He's got the right talent...he has everything other than Test experience. So let him play.

Rasel should replace Razzaq.

Mehrab should replace Nafees. And if he promises to bowl well, he can replace Razzaq, and we can keep Rasel out for a bit. That'll improve our batting lineup.

Bangladesh 2nd innings lets have some hope for the next matches... getting a draw against this strongest srilankan team would be a great achievement... trouble is that at the moment Malinga is probably the most dangerous fast bowler and Murali is ruthless as usual!

Fabulous, ripping spin. Flight, loop, wicked turn and expert use of those Day 4 patches ... it's all there.

I cannot blame Mshud he is just obliging the duty, but Shakib has done enough to crack my dependency.
