But the breakthroughs are coming too late I guess. They are just 174/3...
Dravid , Mongia can still take them over 300 and we can then sleep peacefully without worrying about the game

India's tactic shld be just to play singles now till 43-55 overs..
Bashars tactic shld be to deny them that and put them under some pressure to take a few more wickets ..

lets see who prevails

Those who wonder WHY some folks/fans have issues with Bashar, here's the thing. I'd love for you to watch the match live or get a copy. The fielding and everything is given, here's tw things that irk me the most:

- The KEBLA hashi after losing a match/wicket/fielding
- the body language. Right after Yuvi got out, players celebrated. Within seconds, the camera was focused on Bashar, shoulders crouched, head down, walking like a two year old who just lost his lollipop Rafique on the other hand, was still pumped up. If that signifies nothing to you, I don't know what to say.

You mean 44 overs, I guess?

And no, too late for this. If Bashar puts the fielders closer, they'll have no problems hitting over the top and taking risks. They've got enough wickets in hand to do that. And so, we're basically screwed.

yeah sorry guys 44 overs

on the other hand, dravid is just in and gambhir is inching to his century.. tentative since this is a crucial knock for him too. no hinder in trying for 2-3 overs. just to see if the batsmen really want to take that chance.. what say ?

Gambhir hits two four and then gives a return catch - DROPPED. It had some force but again - we gotta take this chances. We dropped so many that it doesn't even matter what we do now. :(

Also, we have a new batsman on the crease and we're bowling our backup bowler, well, batsman who can bowl - Aftab on one end. On the other end, we have Shakib, who qualifies as the sixth bowler in my book. Way to put pressure on the new batsmen.

I just don't see why the fielders were brought in so close for the last run before Gambir's 100? Bashar wanted to save the hundred from the opponent, than the match.

Thanks Bashar. You're picked the right target.

For the first time, I'll call him Sir Bashar. Truely legendary...in terms of being an idiot.

That was to put pressure on the batsman. Like the commentators said, he would probably try to take a safe single instead of hitting it over the fielder to get his 100. Bashar tried to make it hard for him to take a single and hit it up instead...which might've been a catch since the batsman was under great pressure.

Good attempt by Sumon on that one. Wish he was like this atleast 70-80% of the time.

ONe thing about Mushy's excitement, it does kinda give away the fielders advantage. Batsmen knows exactly what end the balls gonna be at.
