Ok maybe I just woke up but I am experiencing weird stuff ever since the move. I logged in and out of the site maybe 4 times since sunday. Whenever I check the latest posts there are anomalies. Replies are missing or there appears new replies to posts which do not appear when I open up the same post after a couple of hours. What's up? Anyone else notice this or just me?

After moving to the new server, we found the database has some problem, so we moved back.

Everything should be fine now.

Can we get back the posts made in the other database (those which disappeared) somehow ?

I think "Barmy Army" is missing, a few replies to "he Allah" are the ones affected.
P.S- Thanks Raj for keeping us posted and also all the hard work done.

Several posts were lost over the weekend. Unfortunately, we will try another change this week/weekend. This will be a better change (we hope).

Do check the support board before you post on the weekend. Once we do this, we'll have enough space to host some media files and more content. We just want to take care of it before the England series.

Thank you all for your patience.

By any chance, is it possible to do a trial run before the all out move? Hope not asking too much though.

We wanted to do that way, but the forum software looks for http://www.banglacricket.com on everything, so unless we move the site, we can not tell if it is working or not.

Even worse, the phpmyadmin tool, that will use to load the database, provided by the hosting company uses the url also, we can not even do admin stuff unless we move the domain.

As an alternative, can we setup a free domain @ www.uni.cc and use it for trial?

When we moved last weekend, it all loaded fine. But after everything is done, we saw, the database is very slow, message board takes a long time to go from one page to another. So we moved back.

Now testing that on any where else, wouldn't solve the problem we faced in the specific server.
