In the 3rd day of the test between Bangladesh and India, two individual milestones were crossed.

Mohammad Rafique and Rajin Saleh crossing the 1000 runs in test cricket. Congratulations to both of them.

Mohammad Rafique:
Check out the average!! Many BD pure batsmen have less than that. Hats of to this veteran who only gave Bangladesh 110% every time he took the field. He is also 7 wickets shy of having a 100 test wickets.

Rajin Saleh:
Currently, in my opinion the only test batsmen we have (mentality wise). That should sum up enough. He is showing his potential with the limited opportunity he is getting. Hope and pray the SL tour would be his coming out of party (one century).

Rafique has always been a hard-working cricketer and delivered at times the whole team struggled. Rajin's fielding alone is enough to impress me, but he also bats with more composure than most of our batsmen. Hats off to both of you.

rafiq's 1000 would've come earlier if he spent more time in the nets with the bat. rajin's got his because he does spend that time practicing and pushing those limitations.

With all respect Sohel, Rafique is a bowler, and therefore is required to spend more time in the nets bowling than batting. His average of 21 is exceptionally good, considering he is primarily a bowler and also considering the averages of most of the other batsman.

i know what you mean bro, but that extra time in the net could have made rafiq into a decent all-rounder. the ton against WI in WI didn't have to be the flash in the pan it has become.

Also, rafique often runs out of partners in the end. The reason why he hasn't got more Not Outs is he tries to (or forced to) score quickly in the end.

WD RAJIN & RAFIQUE !!
Rafique should concentrate on his batting as well..guess he stopped concentrating a bit.
Rajin ..he just needs to concentrate more ..
Inshallah Rafique will cross 100 test wickets and Rajin.. will have a good batting run.

Rafiq is the best roll model we presently have, salutes to him.

Rajin should have achieved it earlier.
