blurb from the article: -

"We want people to be scared of playing against the England cricket team again," he said yesterday. "We want to be at the opposition all day every day. The boys have to be buzzing at all times as under this regime we want to be ruthless. It is a word we use a lot. It is what the Aussies are. That Aussie team we played in the winter were a special unit. They had genius but also a rock hard no-fear attitude. That is what we are building at the moment and we will be up there with them.

Let them get aussified,who cares?
Do you think its the mentality that makes Aussies win?
No,Its their talent ability on the field, and as Wi has so clearly proven, this mix is sure to succeed, even without the killer mentality.

However, with KP,its different,he has earned the right to say this, like the aussies.

No matter how much one talks it still boils down to taking 20 wickets. That fast bowling core don't fear many, especially Flintoff under the knife. They have still ways to go to catch SA and NZ and win over there with the current squad.

I am waiting for them to beat India. It wouldn't be easy in late summer. Zaheer has a full year under that condition. RP is impressive. should be a good contest.

England might be getting a bit over-confident by beating WI. KP is undoubtedly a great batsman, he's fearless and proven his critics wrong. But it will take more than his words or tough mentality to reach the level of cricket Aussies are playing.
