Match scheduled to begin at 10:45 local time (09:45 GMT).

Now as Chanderpaul remained not out for 1000 minutes of continuous batting England has special concern while WI is boosted by inclusion of Devon Smith.

The failure of Trott in 20/20s may cost him sideline as Ian Bell has a good chance make it to the eleven.

England (probable) 1 Alastair Cook, 2 Matt Prior (wk), 3 Ian Bell, 4 Kevin Pietersen, 5 Paul Collingwood (capt), 6 Owais Shah, 7 Dimitri Mascarenhas, 8 Michael Yardy, 9 Stuart Broad, 10 Ryan Sidebottom, 11 James Anderson

West Indies (probable) 1 Chris Gayle (capt), 2 Devon Smith, 3 Shivnarine Chanderpaul, 4 Marlon Samuels 5 Runako Morton, 6 Dwayne Smith, 7 Dwayne Bravo, 8 Denesh Ramdin (wk), 9 Darren Sammy, 10 Ravi Rampaul, 11 Daren Powell.

Go Carribean!

Even after the setback they suffered Friday, I will bet for the West Indies :)
Both the team have their new captains and had an exciting encounter in the super eight stage of WC. England is highly dependent on their middle order which is looking confident. But West Indies are somewhat demoralized after some array of defeat. I hope West Indies will salvage some pride by winning this three match series. :)

2 wicket in 2 balls from Anderson,Morton and Samuels gone, and Gayle started the picnic by getting out with a would-have-been-wide from plunkett,

England's right arm first medium bowling seemed too hot to handle for WI.

One World
July 1, 2007, 12:11 PM
Stuart Broad ran havoc through the innings.

One World
July 1, 2007, 12:20 PM
Ravi Rampaul with an ODI average of 11.66 playing very decently so far. Lets see how long this 9th wicket partnership can go.

Sovik
July 1, 2007, 12:21 PM
can't believe this.

One World
July 1, 2007, 12:24 PM
West Indies require another 91 runs with 2 wickets and 16.0 overs remaining

Looks quite impossible to me.

One World
July 1, 2007, 12:29 PM
Only for being in the crease Ravi Rampaul's average sky-rocketed to a high 19+. And as now he is gone by the time I post this message all hopes are shattered I believe. The only thing to wait for is can Shandra finish a fifty.

One World
July 1, 2007, 12:30 PM
Now Edwards has a good chance to be the MOM by just sticking himself in the crease and let Chanderpaul play one of his best innings in ODI career.

Nothing can stop this man. His ODI average is rising past 38+ and hopefully he would be able to balance the anomaly between his test and ODI average as the series proceeds. :)

Chanderpaul should atleast attempt to pull this off!

July 1, 2007, 12:45 PM
No hope lost yet, this still can be a great triumph for WI, only if they believe they can do it!

Sovik
July 1, 2007, 12:48 PM
chanderpaul is doing a khaled masud now.

WI lost by 79 runs. Cricinfo calls it a farcical finish. I cannot blame anyone.

chanderpaul is a great batsman but he can't win the game alone. sarwan is the best odi batsman on windies and without him windies won't be able to win any games. gayle has been a major disappointment

Hatebreed
July 1, 2007, 09:21 PM
WI is starting to depend too much on Chanderpaul. Undoubtedly Sarwan's absence is also affecting their performance.
