While reading this cricinfo report the question came to my mind that how do you think the current emerging players from other countries specially BD might perform against the champions.

the bangladesh under 19 did well against england under 19 last winter. the problem always seems to be in the infastructure. the players might have the same level of talent at the age of 17-18 but rarely get the same level or nurturing in bnagladesh as they would in australia. england for years had neglected young players. the idea was that after public or grammar school cricket they might end up playing in the combined university sides. some also used to get contracts at an earlier age. however, the cricket academy, established just a few years ago has provided all year support for youngsters.

bangladesh needs to ensure that the young players who did so well are sent to international trips at least twice a year. if they get to play a sides of the major test playing countires, these youngsters would benefit so much from it.

When you say international trip it makes me find that the amount of time spent in subcontinent and africa (merely) is way high compared to visiting oceania, europe or the americas. BCB may find it useful to mix those tours up to let the players get the feel of differnt cricketing atmosphere and pitches along with emerging players from WI, England, NZ etc.
