Oh..i should have opened this thread!

Sydney, right now, is literally a city in lockdown. In the CBD area where the security zone has been set, there are cops every couple of inches. This is the biggest gathering of world leaders and the govt has left no stones unturned to make sure it goes well.
They are spending over 500 million dollars just for this summit.
Yesterday was a holiday for Sydneysiders and it was literally a ghost city. About a million people has left the town enjoying the long weekend.
I went to the CBD yesterday for a little while, and oh my, it was quiter than a christmas afternoon.

And now the Chaser boys.
Their political-satire show is one of the top rating shows here in Australia and even most of the top pollies are fan of this crazy bunch. There is absolutely nothing on ths earth that this boys wont do.

But the most ironic part is the show is on ABC, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, which is owned by the govt. So, as for the expense of that prank ie hiring the motorcade cars and stuff, it was paid by the studio which in turns gets thier funding from the govt itself.

So, in real genius act, the boys took the money from the govt to make a mockey of the biggest security circus they have set up. Hats of to the Chaser boys!!

Well, now they face upto 6 months of jail for breaching the APEC security, which they are claiming they havent.

To be hones, im not surprised at all by thier pranks. I was expected something of this magnitude from the Chaser team.
