May've gone unnoticed, or I must have missed this being mentioned here at BC, that our Ashraful jointly takes the recognition for the Player of the Series with Shoaib Malik. Ash's allround performance as a captain perhaps gave him the nod ahead of Nazimuddin ?

Well Ashraful came into the team as a leg spinner at the begining of his career.So he does have bowling ability.Ashraful has picked up crucial wickets but again the problem is economy rate which is too high for him.If he manages to take down his economy rate to 4.00 then we can give him the status of an allrounder for sure.I wish ash sucess.
