I almost believed it was posted before. However, I have no comment on your sarcasm as I don't have any knowledge what you were referring to (Chinaman's retiring).

Take my post with a pinch of salt. I tried to see the lighter side of story.

I met her. Her face is sweeter-looking and figure is fatter-looking in real life. Nice person, ektu dongui-typer, kintu mishti nonetheless. I wish her all the best.

Collective weight of bangla movie heroines goes down by 500 lb, I guess.

That's not a nice thing to say, but LOL.

Not to mention the collective relief of all the male stars that had to carry her in different ways during their song & dance routines or while rescuing her from the villains. This reduces the chance of general lower back issues amongst all the male actors of Bangladeshi cinema. ;)

Atleast 4/5 posts so far indiactes that we mostly don't care about the actress' retirement. It's probably the bangla movie standard and the connotation with the words Bangla FIlm that is generating the apathy. However, I was interested to know what's the proportion of BC memebrs who fall in this group (having bad feeling of Bangla movies and actor-actress). Looks like it's more than 50% so far.

she's gotten fat thats true.. but shes a nice actress. i think shes still better than shabnoor, purnima.. and all others. i place her after shabana, who was the greatest actress of all.

she used to have a nice figure before but became fat when she got pregnant. most of the bangladeshi actress get fat after few months/yars of acting. shabnoor became so fat. shes not yet married. same goes for purnima.. she got a big stomach. :-p

now she decided to do something for the common people of bangladesh. and i think thats a good move. our actor/actress can do a lot for our common people if they want. they can do some movies for educations. moushumi decided to make some educational movies which is really a good move. i didnt see her "meghla akash" but i heard people learnt a lot from this movie.

But they can still beat Aussie Wallabies in scrum any given day. ;)
