Nice article on Bangabhandu Stadium gone foul.



The Bangabhandu Stadium was formerly known as the Dacca Stadium, and was a regular Test venue for Pakistan before Bangladesh was granted independence.

Granted? Are you out of your mind idiots?

Judging by the article and its tone, I would just say the writer was either ill-informed or is not very sensitive to the indenpendence issue. I don't think there was any malicious intent involved.

They have corrected it.

It says "Bangladesh achieved independence" now.
