so we're 61-4 in the 23rd or 24th over...but i feel its time to grade our boys...will update after the match is over.

Batting:
Tamim: 106 runs @ 35.33, 1 50

strike was solid through first 2 matches where he got 50 and 43...technique looks much improved. failure in last match is only to be expected if not condoned.

Grade: B

Junaid: 29 runs @ 9.66

maybe it was the debut jitters, or maybe it was the tough conditions. either way "Big Z" just look like a Big Mistake. if he improves his technique, he can be something good

Grade: D-

Ashraful: 98 runs @ 32.66, 1 50

his 98 runs came off exactly 98 balls. should have scored more runs, but got one dodgy dismissal and therefore his review is mixed. seems more mature than before, but needs to mature further. often times seemed the only hope. more is expected of him.

Grade: B-

Aftab: 81 runs @ 27.00, 1 50

even his fifty was disappointing as he could have been dismissed 4 or 5 times en route. along with ash he is a player who needs to mature, and even more so.

Grade: C

Sakib: 31 runs @ 10.33

looked completely clueless out there. if this is the real sakib and not a crappy display of terrible form, then i am afraid his career is over.

Grade: F

Rahim: 4 runs @ 2.00

statistically the worst of the batsman, heck even all the bowlers managed better averages. however, i believe that he is a gem and will come through as such. nevertheless he fails twice.

Grade: F-

Tushar: 23 runs @ 11.50

hard to grade, didn't get much time in the middle and when he came in, the game was pretty much dead both times. i would like to see come in with a solid platform and see what he offers. still to early to tell if he's garbage, but i would surprised to see otherwise.

Grade: D

Farhad: 27 runs @ 13.50

hard to grade for the same reasons as tushar above. regardless, i think he can fill the medium pace all rounder spot for now at least. his bowling has gotten much better although he will bowl at least a few "smack me balls" per spell. but his batting is actually not that bad, and along with aftab he had the sweetest cover drive of the series by either team.

Grade: C

Razzak: 28 runs @ 28.00

can't really expect much better from him. did as well as he should.
Grade: A-

Mashrafee: 19 runs @ 9.50

his batting was dissappointing. but all failures with the bat will be forgiven if he bowls with some fire.

Grade: D

Bowling:

Mashrafee: 1 wicket @ 123.00

that number should be halved as he had the wicket of How stolen from him by one corpulent umpire (aka FB). still his bowling was too wayward for good taste.

Grade: C-

Mashrafee: 1 wicket @ 123.00

that number should be halved as he had the wicket of How stolen from him by one corpulent umpire (aka FB). still his bowling was too wayward for good taste. bowled as fast as i have ever seen him over an entire series averaging around the 137-138 kmph mark.

Grade: C-

Shahadat: 0 wicket

despite the fact that he was wicketless, i thought he was pick of our specialist quicks. was very economical in the first match, and bowled a pretty good over at the end to oram. was far slower than i thought he would be, averaging a mere 132 kmph during the entire series.

Grade: C+

Razzak: 2 wickets @ 68.00

i guess there wasn't much in it for the spinners. still had the best average of our specialist bowlers which is pretty bad. oh well, he's still a world class spinner in ODIs.

Grade: C-

Farhad: 2 wickets @ 45.00

those numbers look like gold compared to our frontline quicks. and get this, he was just as quick on average as shahadat! bowled very very very well in the death overs of the 2nd match.

Grade: B

Sakib: 3 wickets @ 42.33

took more wickets than anyone else and the best average. can't ask for anything more.

Grade: B

Our bd players are bunch of jokers; they should be in the circus rather than in cricket. After today’s performance they all should resign. And about grading them forget about it, they don't even fall under grading category. I am a BD supporter by heart so please don't think I am enjoying writing this but we can not hide away from the truth. I think if Jamie Siddon starts coaching BD women team, they will be able to perform better than these jokers.mad::mad::mad::mad:
