"Learning" vaguely refers to "permanent change in behavior due to experience". How can we expect these youngsters to "learn" when the senior side cannot seem to. The JITTA GUECHHI mentality inevitably leads to what we've come to know too well. SS and MA blew it for us and $M just hammered-in the last nail.

Disappointing yes but we still have some bright youngsters in this team. Mahmudul Hasan is one of them. This kid is really impressive with both bat and ball and he is very consistent as well. Our pacer trio (Dollar-Rubel-Roy) can matchup with any under-19 team. Top order batting seems to be the worry for this team.

The story is pretty much still the same. They know nothing about batting.

Totally agree. This seems to be story about Bangladesh Cricket. We simply dont have the patience or the ability to pace our innings. At the age of 18-19, in the Indian subcontinent, I dont think there are much differences in physical ability,,, all that we are lacking is the mental maturity to think as a cricketer,,than Dhoom Dharakka batting to get attention. Nannu should be their coach who can teach them how to score single runs, hold on to their wickets and win games without being sensational. Everyone loved Akram for his shots but few realized how Nannu rotated the strikes and played smartly than flambouyantly.

Since mid November, the boys have been given very little time to recuperate or refocus. In this kind of situation performances generally go down instead of coming up. I hope the boys will be given 8-10 days break when they come home.

Don't worry, there's always a next time. We're different at the U-19 level. The positive to take away from this tour is the win against the mighty Saffers. One step at a time, gentlemen.

india u-19 looked stronger from the beginning and they deserved the trophy, congrats to them....

I expected a better fight from our team, but it seemed the cubs crumbled under pressure. they have a long way to go and good thing they are already dealing with pressure and expectations....

Mighty Saffers aren't all that Mighty at U-19 level. We thrashed them last time we played them in the sub-continent.

BD U19 is seeded 5th by the ICC. In real cricket, they should be 2nd right behind India. The only advantage India have over us- they have the batters! If we can get Tamim performing and add one more quality bat, we would be right up there.

We need urgent focus on batting before the world Cup. It seems like BD management still don't know the team (playing XI) as they keep tinkering with the batters...today Ashraful...tomorrow Hamidul...

Disappointing loss, but not heartbreaking definite. The boys have had a very good season

Very true Mahir bhai, thats exactly what I was thinking.
But we definitely need to know who our best batsmen are at the u-19 level. It always seems that we keep changing our players around. I don't even think that we had the same group of batsmen for any 3 matches in a row. That is confusing even for a fan

I think they are trying to experiment with the players, so that they can choose the best possible 15 for the WC. That could be the reason they change the playing eleven in almost every matches..
