Hopefully he will make a big score tomorrow and maybe announce his retirement at the end of the SA series. I'm hoping he can retire on a high note and people can give him the respect he deserves.

I think Bashar shud become our new Batting Coach. Whatdya all say?? I say we do it.. He can make our batting line up stronger. I believe in Haba. HE made us all proud. 3000 run aint no joke... is he the only bangali scoring that much? if dats the case.. bravo.. and seriously..no joke.. he needs to chill now and retire.. the perfect conclusion for him. When tomo comes, just simply take singles and give someone else the strike.. and maybe he can stay not -out and add a few more runz to his total.

didn't know guyana had a cricket team.. Maybe West Indies.. is it??? I don't think u r right... I think this is an international behaviour. When it comes to sports, there are no diff cultures. Sports is a culture of its own ..and when fans gets frustrated they do stupid things.. I don't care what part of the world u are from.. everyone acts the same towards there beloved team and players. U love em when they rise, u hate em when they fall.. Its human nature. ;)

Congrats Sumon bhai (As Pilot would call him:D)...I don't think we have anyone in our current line up capable of doing what he has acheived...having an average of over 30.
For those who can't wait to get rid of Bashar...remember how Pilot was a burden and we couldn't wait to start the "Mushy fairytale"? where is the replacement??? and please dont name a bunch of school boys again..I'm talking about production here, NOT POTENTIAL! and unless we can find that consistent production at #3...I'd rather have Bashar in the team and hope he can rediscover himself. If he doesnt? well then I can atleast distract myself of the dissapointment by thinking of what he has already done for BD.

To me Habibul Bashar is the first Bangladeshi batsman who has shown that a batsman can score lot of runs by playing pull, hook and cut shot in the test cricket. During his young age he was the best Bangladeshi bastsman who never afraid to charge any bowler of any opposition.

Thanks for your service to Bangladesh national team. :)

i know this wont stop bd fans to start jumping on him and may be he deserves the flag.

but we fans have to be honest to ourself. We say we our team is bunch of school boys and we ask for the heads of the seniors.

i know on present form he doesnt deserve a spot. but tell me who the hell does.
retire the whole team! now dont give me ind and sa on the world cup. I know that. i want to see my team playing test and it hurts when people ridicules them.

Coming to his dismisals he was always ugly with his technique and moronic with his stroke play.

I say this not because of the 21 he scored rather he needed 21 to get what the others in the team haven't got before.

As a prolific scorer in Test cricket and one of the most accomplished batsmen of Bangladesh cricket, Bashar's contribution in his prime was undeniable. Kudos to this real gentleman for gracefully leading the national team during some of the toughest periods of time.

congrats HaBa for his 3000. :big_hug:

Finally he scored a 25 and crossed the hurdle. The way Bd batsmen bat in this tour, 25 is quite a good score. People may call for his head but I think he still has some time left in test cricket. Our young bunch of "super talented batsmen" are overhyped and good for nothing.

actually, I'm entitled to my opinion. as long as "As Mod" or "As staff" is not added at the end of the post, it is considered a simple member just like anyone else (this is to the persons mixing up the two).

now to the point mods, I did not do any name calling to any member. so, I don't think mods will have anything to do with it. but someone here did, where they might have a say. guess who.

now, about the content of the post, what do you call a person who is a repulsive hooker and puller, never learns from his mistakes and brags about it? go figure.

like i said if you don't know and think you did anything bad than i have nothing to say.

You have degraded Bangladesh cricket with your simple line which i think should be much more offensive than calling some bc members a name.

The way i see your comment is: BANGLADESH HAS PRODUCED A .... Player like BASHAR as her best Cricketer. Now if that doesn't hurt anyone specially when he fought the lone fight for so long and mods doesn't take any action than probably this site doesn't support Bangladesh cricket as much as i thought it does.
