Throw out all the form books and usual scripts out of the window! ...Bashar and Sakib play the innings of their life and have a partnership of 120 and then one of them gets out...should Tamim come out to bat even with a fractured thumb and soldier on to save the Tigers from another innings defeat?

Now, that would be something in our cricket culture! Are we too soft? Has the time come to toughen up and be the real Tigers? :-p

Expecting a 100 from Bashar and a 50 from Shakib, unfortunately Bashar will run off partners and BD will be all out around 120.

Since they are almost extinct, how about we name them Royal Bengal Ghadas?

Probably Siddons is now looking for something to get out of his current job. He should have a clause in his contract like "If BD score less than 80 in an test innings he can terminate the contract".

How about not associating Bengal with the Ghadas?

Just call them Royal Gadhas.

Cuz Royal "Bengal" Tiger is found only in the Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world located south of Bangladesh and West Bengal.

(Hint: Its called Bengal Tigers.)

Royal Bengal Tiger.

News from Sundarban is that Royal Bengal Tigers are not happy about BD cricket team tarnishing their rerputation of being feroucious, resilient, fighter and survivor.

May be a more appropriate name for our team would be "Happy Go Lucky"

Well...should Tamim bat then and show courage, fight and grit?

Or better not risk his young career in a futile cause?

Actually, India aside, it's also known to have been found in Burma, Nepal and Bhutan :D

Amigo, the time to toughen up had come a long time ago. Unfortunately, sponge roshogollas still seem to be our favorite delicacy when we're out there to bat.

you're right, hermano...it should have come a long time ago...but just like our trains, its comming late. So, just to be self-convinced, I want to send the kid in the firing line. Thats the best way of getting trained up for future battles.

The days of mummy-care (O amar adorer dulal) should be long gone by now!
