Yes, opening this thread to congratulate the most successful bowler in a test match in BD history. Sculping six wickets for 27 runs from the second best test playing nation is not a joke.

Awesome stuff and great performance.

outstanding bowling by Shahadat. I hope Mash gets his rhythm back also, may be he needs a break from the game. his body language is not that good.

This is excellent bowling but waht makes it outstanding is the wicket. Almost nothing is there to help the bowlers, still he managed to dismiss the front line Proteas batsmen. He bowls like a real fast bowler, Mashrafe is looking pale beside him.

Well done boy.

'Hero' is the perfect word for him today. Definitely my MOM when we win this match, hear me GOD.

BTW, Ash's captaincy and clutch bowling shouldn't be forgotten either.

This is probably the best performance by a Bangladeshi test bowler statistically as well.

The guy's improved a lot since his debut. He just keeps getting better.

Raf 5/36 v Pak
Chacha 4/37 v Pak

Kapali had a 3/3 when he took the hattrick

Ooops!! I was citing the career best bowling of Manjar Rana.

Left arm seamer Manjural Islam picked 6/81 against Zimbabew.

I always liked him, I saw him in Colombo and he is quite handsome and has a lot of personality. He was also popular in NZ. He has a lot of talent and fire, and proved it here. He deserves the figures that he has gotten. Here is one guy who fights for the team and I wish all the other guys look at this performance and follow suit, only then, can they be competitive.Because of his controlled bowling, Bd was able to dismiss SA for a lower score. I am sure the Proteas are very upset over this.

Aaaah, there's a huge difference in quality between a 6/27 vs a strong Proteas, than a 7fer against a weak zimbo.

6/27 is brilliant figures for a test match paceman. We should throw him against the poms in England in some summer test match sometime. Rajib is our Curtly Ambrose I tell you.

he prevailed among all the failures in NZ, so I knew he'll bowl well in this series....

What I found especially impressive about his bowling last night was that he was making pretty good use of the oldness of the ball and generating quite a bit of reverse swing. He has clearly increased the amount of thought that he puts into his bowling these days, as opposed to just trying to bowl fast and fast only.

have to agree with ammark and ATMR's last post.

also rajib seemed to be bowling slow, around the 128-132 k mar. but some of his balls seemed pretty darn quick. when u see guys like steyn and morkel bowling around 138, it means rajib was bowling pretty quick...only 6-10 k slower than those express fellas.

with the new ball, he swung it traditionally and seamed it. with old he got reverse. what a freakin find this lad is!

rajib zindabad!

What a bowling performance from Shahadat, on a wicket that's not very friendly to pacers. He has given our team a chance to win this game, and we don't get this opportunity very often, so let's take advantage of it.
