steyn was all fired up from the very first over. all of the first 3 bangladeshi batsman are left handers and they all love to play off-drive. smith placed 3 in the slip cordon, 1 in the gully, and 2 more on the off side and left a huge gap in the middle of off-side for our gullible batsman to play their favorite shot. every bowl that steyn fired was swinging away for the left handers. out batsman were scoring 4 in every over and an edge was long time coming. they steyn completely overwhelmed our batsman with his chest high bouncers. in that over when tamim got out, you can tell how badly tamim wanted not to face steyn, especially after he took a HUGE blow in the back of his helmet. i don't really blame our batsman for the 3 wickets yesterday. all the wickets were carefully planned and all of the batsman were set up to get out that way (not so much for ashruful though). our bangladeshi batsman are just not technically solid to block off steyn's bowling. i don't think it would have made any difference if we had bashar in the team.

If u r planning to make such thread, you have to make it every day when bangladesh bats.
Most of our wct falls due to credit of our batsman rather than oppositions bowler!
so plz avoid such thread!

When the ball hit Tamim's helmet I was expecting him to start his natural fire works like playing some aggressive pull and hook shot, dancing down the track and hit some sixes to counter Attack Steyn but he was flashing the ball out side the off stump and got himself out.

the problem is Bd batsman are not accustomed to face that kind of pace and even in these slow, low wickets of Bd. they have a bit of talent, but the hunger and willingness to improve is not there. thats why they suck and they will continue to suck for quite a long time to come.
