Rafique, in his retirement statement, said theres too much politics influencing selection of players. Will it be enough that one of bangladesh's legendary players highlights this downfall? or will it still take more to abolish this awfully corrupt system that has plagued us since we entered cricket? surely those concerned are embarrassed at the overtness of this fact, but it is probable that the politics will still carry on. it was only a little while ago when the newly caretaker government of bangladesh found hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of corruption going on by the top people in charge of bangladesh cricket. This needs to be realised and for cricket to improve, this is the first area that needs change. how many other countries are guilty of such nonesense linked with their cricket! answer: none!
