You are right just checked there website, well looks like we have to fork out a tenner for all the games (not bad compared to ARY digital)

Setanta will be broadcasting this year's Asia Cup Exclusively Live as the biggest hitters from the sub-continent do battle including India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The One-Day tournament runs between June 24th and July 6th with every match being broadcast live on Setanta. Watch this space for channel and schedule details!

Didnt Sky Sports make a deal to try to broadcast all indian matches, unless another broadcaster has exclusivity rights, looks like setanta beat them to the asia cup, but the tri-series is up for debate.

Tri-Series will be on Zee Cinema in the UK...lol, seriously not joking. But one thing I am worried about is free net links, I couldnt find a single link for the tests between WI/Aus and Eng/NZ. All cricket links have been removed from major sites I donno if they will return for the Asia Cup after the completion of the IPL. But if anyone has any info regarding that please PM me, Thanks!

I think they have the rights for any International match played in India. Asia cup is staged in Pakistan (Ary used to bradcast them)

bro trust me, subscribing to Setanta will cost more than a tenner, when u try unsubscribing they use dirty tricks. its a lot of hassle and time consuming on premium rates, be warned bro lol! thanks to them, i will not be watching the IPL next year, coz my dad is so annoyed with them!

ye its a good deal if u enjoy the other programmes, the golf was pretty interesting to watch, that players tourney....but for people wanting to subscribe just for cricket its stressful afterwards.

MohammedC, u have to give 30 days notice when u cancel and thats the tricky part lol, good luck though!

Hi Guys, those of us who are in Ontario and I called ATN the main provider of Cricket in Canada. I asked them whether they will show the Bangladesh Tri-Series on any of the channels and GOOD NEWS PEOPLE, they will be showing it on CBN channel number 640 on Rogers, don't know which channel CBN is on Bell ExpressVU or any other cable companies. Also I've asked about the Asia Cup and they had said that either to call back after 1 week or it will be notified to the viewers online or a moving message on their Channels.

UPDATE - LIVE BROADCAST OF TRI SERIES IN BANGLAESH

Hello MohammdC Bhaiyya,

BD cricket fans all over the world will be able to watch the matches live being covered by leading Sports broadcasters.

Here’s the rundown :

Neo Cricket
Neo Cricket is going to air all matches live and exclusive in :

India
Bangladesh
Sri Lanka
Middle East
Singapore
Hong Hong
Japan
Taiwan
Korea

Zee
Zee will broadcast all matches live in:
UK
Middle East
South Africa

Setanta Sports
Broadcast all matches live in UK

ATN
Asian Television Network International Limited (ATN) will:

Broadcast all matches live in Canada though CBN

Rebroadcast live all matches in Canada through Cricket Plus

For those who are in Canada you can get CBN for only $5.00 per month if you have the main ATN channel which is priced at $14.99/mo. You have to add the rental charge of Digital Box.

SOPCAST
Then there is SOPCAST which can be accessed from most places.

This is a good option for cricket fans in Australia and USA for now. There may be other options available as well not to my knowledge.

OTHERS
[..]

No news of The Master Blaster Dish Network from USA which is a kind of shocker and big disappointment for fans in the USA and also in Canada.

That’s all for now.

If I have any other new Updates I will keep you posted.

Hope this helps you and all concerned readers to prepare for the great event.

Allah Hafez!

Cheers everyone!

Willow TV is selling tri-series for only $10.

http://www.willow.tv/EventMgmt/Default.asp

This is legal webcast. We should alway encourage legal means to enjy cricket. Not only this is ethical use, this will ensure continuity of broadcast in the future. We should not encourage illegal soapcast in BC.

You can get monthly subscription just for TRI Series but they will charge you £12 connection fee.

Zee package £13.99+£12 (connection fee)= £25.99

The catch is you need to give 30 days notice to cancel the subscription. I paid by my credit card and once I saw the channels running, call them back to cancel my subscription (all in one day). When you subscribe tell them your intention to cancel subscription in one month, if they give you BS*** tell them you want to cancel the transaction because sometime they tried to talk you out of it (they are sales person, more money they earn from you means more bonus for them), get reference number for that call. If you cant cancel the subscription with in the same call they will ask you to call back.

ESPN STAR Sports retains title of Asia Cup to promote STAR Cricket

ESPN STAR Sports has lined up an array of international stars as commentators.

A panel comprising of ESPN STAR Sports' presenter Harsha Bhogle along with experts like Ian Chappell and Marvan Atapattu will be based out of the studios in Singapore.

The on-site commentary team has been divided into two parts because of simultaneous matches in the first phase.

For the Lahore leg, the commentators will include Ranjit Fernando, Waqar Younis, Athar Ali Khan, Ranil Abeynaike and Bruce Yardley. For the Karachi leg, Danny Morrison, Rameez Raja, Wasim Akram, Aamir Sohail and Arun Lal will take charge.

In the final phase of the tournament, Arun Lal, Danny Morrison, Rameez Raja, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, Athar Ali Khan, Ranil Abeynaike and Aamir Sohail will enthrall the audiences and will be responsible for the on-ground commentary.

both game will be televised live. so we just have to find a link as both setanta and geo will be broadcasting the pakistan game.

How is that possible? Pak vs HK is at the same time of BD vs UAE. And they have only one channel Geo UK on 815.

there are two different GEO on astra 28.2°E
chn 815 Geo UK
chn 825 Geo News

but i doubt they will use both channels for cricket simutaniously
most likely we will watch one match a day according to their choice
and obviously pak matches will have the priority

The matches beween Pakistan and HK and the one between UAE and BD are both playin at the same time. I f anyone lives in Ontario, they can see BD>UAE on Cricket Plus 577.
If you have any of rogers multicultural stations, it 4.99 for the month.

Well if Pakistan fields first and they clear up UAE within 50 runs and then win their match quickly we might see the Tigers play.

bangla bhaira kheltase arob bhaider shathe :-D

anyways, geo uk probably wont show the bd match as pak game at the same time
unless geo decide to broadcast both on their 2 different channels!

Does anyone know if Setanata UK will air the Bangladesh vs UAE game???

It is the only game I am expecting bangladesh to win, and if we dont get to watch the only international game bangladesh will win since the world-cup, it will be ironic.

Major setback for UK viewers. GEO UK channel 815 is not free anymore you must subscribe to it to watch it. Those cheap losers have turned into a pay channel from today to capitalize on audience who are keen to watch the Asia Cup. So I guess we have to depend on net links or subscribe to Setanta or Geo to watch the Asia Cup. Geo by the way is £153 for 12 months and you must sign a 1 year contract. If anyone has a good quality net link please PM me.

Zee told me they are not telecasting in the UK. It's only Setanta.

What deals have anyone got ?

Same thing here. Actually had Verizon high speed for a long time, only to switch to Comcast a few months ago, and ironically, not supported by ESPN360. I will have to go to work early and watch there. We have Verizon.

If you can VPN to Verizon's/at&T's backbone doesn't matter where you are in North America you will be able to watch it on ESPN360. For this you need to have a freind who is using at&T/Verizon/whoeverSupported by ESPN360 and VPN to their router. Make sure you disable the multi-channel.

I have both CBN and Cricket Plus but the BD vs SL match is coming on Atn-Tamil (Jaya TV). So I called Rogers and told them that I need Atn-Tamil for one day only. So the guy said they usually dont do that but he gave me the chanel anyway for .50 cents for tomorrow only.
