Ok, this could be the defining moment in our cricket history as the exodas of players like Nafees, Aftab, Kapali and others, have dented the national team slightly, but not to the extent where they cannot survive.
Infact, all our players are not too different from each other and the next new kids on the block are not going to be any worse than the ones we have lost.
Who knows, the vacuum left by these players will surely give exposure to some young players who may never have otherwise have been given the chance (at the right time) and in the process might turn out to be the find of the century. (we hope)
I really do not think that the national team has been harmed THAT much as we were going nowhere anyway.
On the other hand, the ICL has definately become much much more interesting for tens of MILLIONS of Bangladesh cricket fans. I do not think anybody in this forum who is a true cricket fan will not be following the fortunes(or misfortunes) of the Dhaka Warriors and when the time comes, will all be cheering for them, especially when they play against the Lahore Badshahs.
In fact, I bet on the 10th of October, this forum will be buzzing with excitement and anticipation and I'm happy to announce that I for one, will definetly be cheering them on.
Who knows, if they manage to win a few games, they might even bring some respectability to the reputation of bangladesh cricket and if they don't, no one will care.
