There has been a steady downward dip in the quality of posts here recently. Perhaps the lack of cricket, the ICL, Palin, Harvest Moon, roja are all contributing to this.

We say this.

Enough. Stop it.

I will like to urge everyone to spend a few minutes reading the following excerpt from the forum rules.

We will ensure the spirit of the forum rules are met.

A.1: Maintaining a civil and courteous forum
A.1.1: Please maintain both G rated and pleasant reading environment at all times. Do not use words that are generally avoided in front of children and parents out of respect.
A.1.2: Please be courteous and respectful to the opposing / differing opinion and never attack a poster. Articulate your own opinion with sound reasoning.
A.1.3: Refrain from rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
A.1.4: Avoid posting about your personal hatred toward any country, nationality, race, ethnicity, religion and gender.
A.1.5: Avoid posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or such.

Also a clarification that these rules apply to everyone (members, mods, admins, etc). If you do not see a swift action, it doesn't mean we are not taking any action. Frankly, it's harder to take swift actions when you have a democracy. I noticed in couple of threads that questions were raised about the whole of BC Staff based on actions/posts by an individual staff. Common sense dictates that such generalizations are immature and do not pass the smell tests. My advise to everyone is to keep your fights limited to yourself. Better yet, retire from the thread and report the posts to our MOD team.

Much appreciated.
