This is a great chance for India...
pay back time.. However, Aus is tough team. I am hoping for a thrilling match.

When Dravid keeps wicket, as he has in India's last three matches, he averages 50.18; when he plays as a specialist batsman that mark is 39.27.

Weird. What has wicketkeeping to do with averages. I hope Dravid is captain. He led India in the opening win and should be cap tommorow.

maybe he is coming in late in the order and staying not out more, hence the bloated average.

It looks like anybody's game. Without Lee, Gillispie and McGrath (not to menton Warne) Australia bowling line up has done well so far but the doubt remains - Can they play against EDEN Garden and win against an India side full of blazing guns (batting wise). India's bane will be their weak bowling attack.

India should have won.
Badani went for too many risky sweeps instead of playing straight. Same goes for
Kartik , Khan and Singh. All were all out playing blatantly extravagant shots.

India had the game..but it'z the Aussies...they are superb extraordinary....I wish our players(may be atleast one or two) are fighter s like the aussies...they took away the game when Sachin was out...and they knew that they could do it...we may say ...thatz the difference with them...our team lack the confidence of beating opponents...but Aussies got that confidence through tromendous hard work...I hope our players keep on their hard work in this off session for them to prepare for a fight back in January...hope they got eat too much for coming Eid and vacation ..lolz...just kidding...apologize for the joke..

India needs to try to rise higher up to match the Aussies.

I actually waited to see a taped version of the game. It was hard not to go to cricinfo or come here and find out the result. I wnated to get a LIVE feeling.

Anyways, India bowled much better then I had expected, their fielding was good but their catching was horrible and dravid should just stick to batting. The Aussies were troubld by the spinners and should thanks Bevan and Clarke for getitng them out of a shaky situation. Great job by Clarke in the end.

Aussie bowling was good but the Indian batting looked helpless at times. They did show flashes of brilliance but that was about it. Bichel's inswinger against Tendu was crucial, Tendu was looking to stamp his authority. Harvey's four wicket in the end was good, but his opponents were totally off.
