Surprisingly only four players from the sub-continent made it to the ICC hall of fame list in their 100 year celebration. No players from New Zealand, Srilanka or Zimbabwe were able to retain a place.

Here is a complete list (http://www.catchthespirit.com/hall_of_fame/hall_of_famers.aspx)

They have a nice article on top of the site on Bangladesh's first match with Zim in the recently concluded tri series about the spirit of cricket.

Read it here (http://www.catchthespirit.com/news/news_20090113_9/news_inner.aspx)

The site is quite eye-catching. Find all the highest rated 'Middle Order Men' in this article.

To me it was also surprising how Border is placed on top above Bradman and Javed and Viv to find low down the order even after Rohan Kanhai or Graeme Pollock.

Lara and Tendulkar are not even on that list. I'm assuming it's because they were recent....

Last time I checked Sir Richard Hadlee was a New Zealander, but could just be me.

Note: if Bishan bedi makes it onto the list then In the future vettori will, vettori has a better strike rate/more wickets

I saw him on the field playing against other greats who are also in the list.
I dont need a supermarket hero.
