Kolkata's last game is on Monday 19th. They are not making it to the semis. Will he pack up on the following Tuesday?

Mumbai's last game is on Thursday 21st. Most likely they will miss the semis. When will Ash return?

When is BD team leaving for England? Will they join directly with the team in England?

Just out of curiosity....

The good thing about the IPL fiasco is that Ashrafool and Masrafee will be really hungry to make an impact!

Not only Dirk Nannes they will also have to deal with Ryan ten doescathe. Which will be good warm-up before they face Indians.

I think IPL should release them before the 19th to travel with their team to England. Ash and Mash are captain and VC, and my understanding is that national duty comes first.

IPL teams (or ICL for that matter) will release players for national duties whenever their respective board wants them. At issue is when you are released you are forgoing at the very minimum the 0.8 * pro rata amount of your bid value, for each mach you are unavailable for.

His parents are Dutch and since he couldn't make it to the Australian T20 WC squad, his new goal in life is to destroy their top order in England.

if BCB had any B****..they would have pulled mash and ash out of ipl by now..they are not even getting any matches so what's the big deal..look at what the Australian cricket board did..beside its much more important for our national team captain and vice captain to spend time with their team mates than kkr and mumbai indians

Are you saying that IPL and ICL players have this protection in their contract and ARE being paid 0.8x of their bid value + match fees? Just curious to know if this is really there with the IPL and ICL contracts.

If that is the case, Mashrafee has got to be cricket's most expensive benchwarmer ever.

ammark the way this works is as follows:

Your bid value / divided by the number of total regular season games in your contract term = your potential match fee (X)
You are available but the team does not pick you in the 11? Then your fee for that match = 0.8 * X
You have been called up/not released and team does not have you at all? Then your match fee = 0
So yes, even if Mash never plays a game for KKR and if his contract is 1 year, then he should pocket 480K before taxes.

480K is not bad...still very high income.

ash will get 60K, not bad at all...

Best Associate Player in the Planet, His bowling is very average even tho he got 5 vs India, it's his batting that we should worry about.
