This Faisal guy, playing for Chittagong seems to have some potential. First he scored a 99 in the first innings, at number 6, and then he scored an explosive 65 of 41 in the second, with three sixes, when promoted to number 3. Chittagong won by 8 wickets against Rajshahi with time to spare!

It took me a little while to realize what the Dickens was referring to and then I remembered!
Yeah, he surely started with a bang. Lets hope he shows some consistency through the season.

Yup i kinda know this guy. My friend (neighbour) used to be in the same practice session with this guy. His cover drives are classy, and has always been known locally for his aggressive batting. I've bowled against his team, but didn't have to bowl at him.

It's impressive..but we have to think that international level if you wana include him in the team...cuz over there bowlers easily can find out your strength and weakness..if you are not capable of cope up or play other scores..you will be doomed...like Bashar is a great playa but he gets out playing pools and hooks..and same with Kapali i guess...Kapali also showed weakness playing spin attacks cuz of bad decision of playing off spiners twice or thrice!!!
neways good luck to Dickens, I hope you make it one day and contribute something to our team.

So you are my chatgaiya brother!
We need more chatgaiyas on the national team...I am serious man. My granny says that she doesn't enjoy cricket as much because national team has no chatgaiyas... She is a cricket freak.
I hope Dickens is good enough to come to the national team... We need variety in names.
I think the best name so far is Mashrafee bin Murtoza...
For nicknames.. Dickens will be my favorite if he comes :)
By the way, have you guys ever heard anyone named "Hitler" or "Nigger"? I have relatives by those names. Not proud of it though. I also knew a badamwala named "Saddam"....
Ppl use to call him "Saddam-Badam" <--ok I just made up :P

Is this the same Dickens who have been playing in CTG local leagues for the last few years. I believe I have heard that name several times (several spellings of course) in the last 3/4 years.

Yep, Mashrafee's name seemed to be the most un-common name, which even Pakistanis like Rameez Raza and Aamir Sohail can't pronounce.

Aamer Sohail can't even pronounce his own name correctly.
