We fans have been on receiving end ever since BD got Test status. Some sacrified their nights, studies, optimism for this team which have been frankly thrashed through the decade. We the passive fans have been heart broken more times than we have been in euphoria. It is time that we become more involved, it is time that BCB not only hear our adulation but also our cries , our suggestions for improvement of team. It is time WE become ACTIVE than remain passive and have control in suggesting BCB of improvements. Here are some questions I have before suggesting a solution.
i, Does our forum have any influential member? (since in google "bangladesh cricket" this forum comes up) If yes who does he/she know? If no we have to find ways to get in touch with one of the member.
ii, Can we form BC forum committee with members who have been active and consistently provided great constructive suggestions? These members can forward great suggestions from other members to concerned BCB members.
My solution for being an ACTIVE supporter of BC is the simple use of web 2.0 and social networking. I came to realize it's effectiveness when a good friend of mine who since ages was a bad swimmer couldnt just get it right.
He hired many coaches but it didnt work out. He is a social fish and have huge followers so he organised "Twitter marathon" named "Make me a fish" asking suggestions from Twitter friends who in turn invited other friends who are great swimmers to take part in this 2 hr discussion. In these two hours he got 400+ suggestions and some he weaned out as he had already tried them and got acquainted to new ideas. Beauty of Twitter is it only allows msg of 150 characters which can be easy for eyes and assimilation. In the Twitter marathon he got a very important gem of advice - "total immersion swimming" which changed the way he swam.
Fast forward 3 months he is swimming like a fish after 28 yrs of wrong coaching! Most of these three months were spent on "unlearning" bad ideas. Similarly if we could get in touch with BCB selectors , pass on our suggestions, we can have some kind of consolement that we as fans have tried our best.
I personally feel that Siddons is pressuring and blame gaming them which can hurt their self-esteem. We just dont need a psychologist we need a self-development coach well versed in hypnosis and NLP who can instill great beliefs in our players at the same time help them relax and think under pressure.
Hope Bangladesh cricket will rise one day but without any credible action it will just remain a hope.

We fans have been on receiving end ever since BD got Test status.
It would've been a lot simpler had that been the case. The truth is, we've been pretty ordinary ever since the board was formed back in 1975.
I remember how my old man and his brother were hurting after we fell 13 runs short of beating Kenya and making it to the next round of the ICC trophy back in 1994. Although already an avid follower of the team by then, I was too young to make sense of all the hoopla they were creating for a mere loss in a cricket match, but have obviously felt the heat as a Bangladesh fan over the years.
The point is, if we're making the same mistakes for over 30 years now, then maybe the problem is embedded in the culture, i.e. our sportsmen (and almost all other kinds of men and women) are losers by birth; except the odd few, of course.

Which fan? I have seen fans recommending Alok or Shahriar for Captain, taking advice from the fans can totally backfire and hit rock bottom ie losing test status finally.

Taking advice from us fan? NO WAY
EXACTLY that's what goes in the minds of our players when they play > NO way we are going to win this match, no way we are going to semis , etc...
We only need to form a coalition to pressure them, knock at their doors time and again, we can raise money to spread the word. Most of us live in NA and Middle East so we can afford to pay a committee which can name and shame BCB and expose their corrupt ways.
All we need is a WILL and the rest will find the way. Which one do u prefer?
Constant complaining and opening of innumerable whining threads.
OR
Working out solutions and ways to get our word heard.

Bangladesh cricket has millions of supporters..who's idea should BCB listen to.. or should we vote on the issue? BCB is not my mamar bari or your mamar bari that they should have to listen to ideas from me and you

I suspect the BCB building is cursed.
I suggest hire this doyal baba for one session and purify the whole BCB Head Quarter Building.....

We as fans are naturally emotional. most of our comments and suggestions are fed from these emotions. You will see loads of threads opened when we lose or win and most comments will reflect our joy, dissapointment and most of the time anger.
You cannot make a rational decisions based on sentiments. If BCB listened to fans and made decisions based on our suggestions then all they would do is chop and change in an infinite loop.

BANGLADESH team has lots of tallent, and brightness future, if they can hold together. and learn or feel something after they got kick out from the world cup. and also bangladesh getting more 14 players from the icl team.so its gonna be compitishion among them. if u dont play responsibility, u r out of the team....like mash , ash, musy they got out of the team regularly. when icl players was present...so its gona be again,,,and its gona LIVE US again.

Reading all your suggestions from all we need a captain to BCB is crap etc etc........ BCB and the team are the PART of the system as u guys. Dont u get deja vu complaining same thing over and over?
Who is asking BCB to be forced to listen us fans , it's just "being exposed to new ideas" instead of being stagnant and pushing our boys to become phsyically tough by doing military training (haha I remember that military training hehe Ashraful was full of confidence then New zealand thrashed us like never b4.haha) ..... they are looking for ideas........ Twitter marathon is just 1-2 hr tweets with fans tweeting in suggestions and these guys can be exposed to the new ideas.
For them to follow or not is the next step.
