A very young team? Salman Butt, Yunis Khan, Mohommad Yusuf, Kamran Akmal, Umar Gul...almost half the team has good experience. Even someone like Fawad Alam has played 11 matches already. That is certainly not a very young team. That is a very good balance of youth and experience.

I am not sure he can be called the best captain in the world. He looks cool, all smiles and never looks under pressure....but I have hardly yet seen him inspire his team when they are down and out. After T20 WC, its been like a free fall from the top. He has failed to take decisions right and he had failed to lead by example. For example, in both the last two ODIs, the batting power play kept pending till almost all recognized batsmen were gone. Batting power play helps natural hitters like Afridi and Razzaq survive longer and play their natural game. It does not particular service to the tail enders. He himself has been playing a bit too irresponsibly game continuously getting out to the cut shot attempted on swinging deliveries. A good captain shows the signs when the team is down.....YK hasn't shown any so far.
