1.30pm Kumar Sangakkara has put India in. Never was well begun so much done, but Sangakkara says in the final, conditions don't matter so much, it becomes mental too. Nuwan Kulasekara replaces Suranga Lakmal for them.

MS Dhoni thinks it's a pressure game, and runs on board never hurt anybody in big matches.

Going by the team-chasing-win hypothesis, Sri Lanka should be the champion.......

but our lower order with Sakib is better.

Nayeem, Riad and Shakib all three have better average than our top order batsmen. All of them are averaging over 30 with very good SR.
Btw i thnk TomJoad is talking about Sl

Test Style Field had really clogged up all the boundaries and has made very hard to even get singles, great job by Dhoni ... SL can go for a massive over with this type of field, there just biding there time or can play catious and wait for the PP

I think Indian's would not mind losing against SL, because after this match they will not face SL anymore and will be happy, especially the CI journalists.

Bd don't have the lowest totals for the first time in any tournament (where the other teams were only top 8 teams). That even batting first in all four matches :) :)

With a second string, inexperienced bowling lineup it would have been difficult from the get go. Raj's performance was bad.

SL selectors shows the depth of their bench. Murali, Malinga, Mendis, Mathew, Fernando, Chamara all experienced players replaced by almost unknowns. Lakmal, Randiv, Perera did well. Sangakkara was the main stay in all matches. Hats off to a great performance after a very difficult tour in Ind.

I predicted that it was SL's trophy to win. I based it on how many games India had won, and took the law of averages. I knew that SL had the guts to beat India in the finals.

Great to see SL thump India in this series. Like both teams anyhow.

It was a good match and win... Raina played good under pressure. I thought we missed mathews in this series, but its great to see boys getting used to without Vaas, Murali, Malinga, Fernando and Jayasuriya.

Suraj If we continue to play the way he is playing now, eventually he will replace murali. But I would like to see them play togetting until WC 2011, there is a so much he can learn from watching murali ball.

Ravi to Kulasekara... which wicket you enjoyed most...
Kulasekara: Sehwag

In SL forums, Kulasekara also known as sehwags bunny... so it was bit funny.

really ,hats off to Sri.
After missing out the service of so many key players they still made it.
And what can I say about Ind,they were never good in tournaments.Looks like they needed
the service of Sachin.
