Have to say I am on the borderline about Razzak. Spinner traditionally don't do well in NZ. On the other hand, our seamers' record outside subcontinent is not that great either (stats thread (http://www.banglacricket.com/alochona/showthread.php?t=31816)). Still, I would put my bet on three seamers attack.

Just to clarify I don't want separate captains. Neither do I want Mash to retire from Test cricket. I just think Mash should not play this particular match as there is hardly any time before the next series starts. Plus I want to see how our fastest trio get on in NZ.

tbf rasel isn't as good as he use to be, he's lost pace and accuracy and in turn lost effectiveness.

i was up in the air about ash, was really really thinking about taking another bowler (razzak, shuvo or another pacer) but because we don't have any decent pacer allrounders (maybe milon but is he any good? never seen him play) and i already had soo many spinners in my side i just took ash's batting.

I think Miraz bhai perceived the selectors as there will be a single 15 man squad.

To be more accurate, I think Shuvo may have to wait longer as Bangladesh is going to play with only one spinner in Test and for ODI/T20, Razzak has better chance to get the call. Nazmul surely get the call instead of Russell or both can be out IF Mashrafee is fit.

I think we will continue to see Imrul open with Tamim for ODI, in the tri series they had 2 50+ partnership, even though Imrul was quite lucky to survive for so long, but i don't think the management will want to change the opening pair again.

For T20 Aftab should open with tamim.

The 15-member squad for New Zealand does not include any new faces. The batsman Shahriar Nafees, who failed in his comeback Test against India in Chittagong, has been dropped and replaced by his former ICL team-mate Aftab Ahmed. The selectors also recalled the left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak to the Test squad, at the expense of Enamul Haque jnr. The fast bowler Mahbubul Alam, who didn't play the Tests against India, has also been omitted in favour of Nazmul Hossain, who has recovered from a right quadriceps muscle injury which had ruled him out of the tri-series.

We won our last T20 in 2007 vs. WI in the world cup. We won our first two against ZIM and KEN, lost to PAK , beat WI and then have lost 9 straight (including 1 to IRELAND).

This is our first T20 vs. NZ and we have yet to play ENG in this format.
