Unbelievable. This guy is the biggest joke in BD cricket. He is worse than Shadat. This guy is not even fit for school cricket. Why they keep persisting with these failures no one knows.

Could you have not posted this revelation in the match thread instead of pressing a new thread button?

He's just trying to bash Nazmul Hossain. Otherwise players are coming and going from national team.doesn't matter that much.

He is good on tracks that suit him

he should have been in the original squad if he was fit. he is a very good odi bowler compared to other BD options.

actually very good news. and cricinfo are too very late. Nazmul joined the squad on the morning of the 2nd odi. he was called on phone he did not had time to go to join the team at hotel. he directly went to the field.

he was seen practicing and warming up with the team before the 2nd odi. and also carrying drinks, gloves etc along with nasir and junaed.

those who followed the 2nd odi, u can find in the match thread, me posting the news of nazmul warming up with the team before the game. i posted it when i saw him doing the warmups

In last match in this ground Nazmul had a figure of

6 - 2 - 10 - 2.

Econ of 1.66.

I think I would prefer Nazmul over Rubel. Rubel's far too expensive.

I don't think Nazmul is at all a bad choice over Rubel. I think he won't do any bad than Rubel.

This isn't a bad move in ODIs in home conditions.

Nazmul may or may not be a better choice.

But we keep on bringing in bowlers for 1 match stints. It takes a bowler a bit to find a rhythm.

Such efforts just get wasted.

Good move. Nazmul's had more "wow" games than Rubel and Shafiul combined. Its a funny thing with Nazmul, one game he gets 4 wickets at an economy rate of 3.00, and the next, he looks like Khaled Mahmud...

OMG = Oh My God

So a muslim would say, OMA

And a Hindu would say OMB?

And an Atheist OMNB?

How about a Buddhist?

magic boy

OMB (may be)

but the word "GOD" is common...tai eitai beshi use hoy...also Oh My Gosh
btw, GOD the word in it is usually censored in South African media. ( don't know why!)

why do you think he is biggest joke in BD cricket?? keep your personal preferences somewhere else..come with some facts.. whenever he was fit gave chances he performed very well. Someone already mentioned here how he had performed against Srilanka.

I don't think he's so bad. I've seen some pretty good performances from him on pacer friendly tracks.

I agree with you. He is only good in Bangabandhu stadium pitch.

in the home soil, nazmul hossain is better than rubel hossain.

I remember his horrible form in NZ.
But home is a different story as always, remember how he troubled the Zimbos.

rubel hossain should never get to play in the home soil. syed rasel and nazmul hossain should be the opening bowlers in the home soil i think.

yup, Nazmul was the reason we lost the first game against New Zealand. We would have restricted them under 270 had it not been for him. He gave 20+ runs in his first over in the PP and dropped Oram.

nazmul is a bit slow and should not be used in bouncy wickets. in bangladesh, tracks are not bouncy and nazmul should play instead of rubel (i think).

I agree Nazmul should be used at home and Rubel away.
