BD BATTING FISRT AFTER WINNING THE TOSS (http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?batting_fielding_first=1;class=1;filter =advanced;innings_number=1;orderby=start;team=25;t emplate=results;toss=1;type=team;view=innings)
4 times we crossed over 400.
3 times we got between 300 to 400.
9 times between 200 to 300
7 times between 100 to 200
never below 100 or over 500
we never declared. always was allout
and our score today is now currently 6th best. this was our best score after winning the toss and batting first for the last 4-5 years since that fatullah test in april 2006
not a bad effort. but we could have and should have scored more. we never built up a big partnership. all partnerships were 40-50. also no batsmen got on to make a big scores all around 30-60.
the most important was we never had a big collapse of more than two wickets going in very quickly.
330/8 and 400 looks a bit far. but if naeem bats well and tail gives support we may cross 361 and this will be our 5th highest total.
also if u think of overs played, this one currently stands at 10th. we play 5.3 more overs we go to 7th. to go to 6th we need to play 28.2 more overs
can we still dream of 400?? lets hope for the best
