How come the ball is turning immensely now that we are batting? There was absolutely no turn few hours back. Is this how the pitch suppose to behave? Or do we have more to worry about now, that our spinners are not good as we actually thought?

We need to bat out a session and a half/two sessions tomorrow and secure the draw. I know Nayeem is up to it, now the question is whether Shakib feels the same.

Two session of batting tomorrow will save us.

It will turn more after lunch.

Thats why its very important not to lose any wicket during 1st hour. and atleast keep two wicket for "after lunch' session.

Agreed. I mean Swann and Redwell got the ball to rip, while Shakib's ball didnt turn at all on a 5th day pitch. I can understand Razzak as he was never a big turner but Shakib, who was hailed by Jamie Siddons as the current biggest turner out of the current buch of left-arm spinners in the wold couldnt get the ball to turn at al. Its pathetic. Against India, Shakib got alot of turn but against England he just bowled on a defensive line-length waiting for the batsman to make a mistake

1st one thats top of my mind would be, Never be overconfident in a particular ability. Remember how Siddons was saying to the media before the tour that our spinners will outplay the England team. And now I found out that Swann is simply awesome, in the 4th day I believe, he spun the ball nearly 1 foot. We gotta have specialist spinners instead of replying on Shakib the All rounder.

Yes, he alone bowled 70+ overs but then again do we have any spinners in our national league who actually spins the ball?

Razzak - pure rubbish
Enam - minnow basher
Shuvo - he looked ordinary in the odi

Soon Razzak and Enam have to retire from cricket because of 3 U19 spinner; Shaker Ahmed(SLA), Sabbir Rahman (LS) and Nur Hossain(LS)

so, gotto open a "tata bye bye" thread for enam and raz.
