I said it before that Imrul is scared to death when he faces any real pace, in practice matches and domestic matches he may have performed better when no one is watching, but when there is a huge crowd the guy literally haggus in his pants. Two ducks in a row, the worst player we could have selected, he scores more than half of his run from edges.

Imrul = needs to be left alone in Sahara desert

Riyadh = needs to build some muscle

these players really has to go, not because how they play, but their confidence in playing. Its really really poor...

SO far the permanent players are : Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiq, Mahmudullah, Naeem (needs to improve tho), Mashrafee, Shafiul (also needs to improve), Junaed and Rock (for test matches mostly). Still need a good partner for Tamim, and a Solid player who comes in at 3rd.

Players who days are over: Aftab, Ash (want him gone, even if he score 5 centuries in a raw), Razzak, etc.

Players to develop in my opinion: Hom, Sabbir Rahman, Saqlain Sajib, Samsur Rahman, Anamul Hoque (he is the future!!), Asif Ahmed, etc

Been saying that for years. I dont want to compare him to Hussey and disrespect him, but Hussey always fails when he bats up the order. He is a great finisher. He plays that role very well.

Ash should go back to 5th, or even 6th. Idk why management dont see it. He scored all his big numbers lower down the order. Rahim should bat at 3, Shakib at 4, Riyad at 5, Ashraful at 6. Riyad an Ashraful should rotate every now and then.

may be hes not the best coach but the way the team plays, its pretty apparent changing the coach wont change our game. Look at aftab, Im pretty sure shakib said something to him just before the ball he got out, and i dont believe he said YEAH BOY AFTAB HIT IT BOY lol. A more accurate assumption would be he said to play sensibly, get used to the pitch or give him the strike. Did he do any of that ? Theres only so much you can teach/guide/tell someone but when hes out there hes on his own merits.

I am a bit surprised that not many people are mentioning Mash in the list of idiots. He is the one who turned the match Australia's way, when everything was going correctly for us. One may come up with the argument that it is natural in T20 to give away 17 runs in an over. You are right and I wouldn't mind even if he gave away 20+ runs in that over. But the question is not about the number of runs he conceeded; it is about his bad bowling at critical time. Hussey had no intention of attacking him. So, all he needed is just bowling his normal deliveries. Instead he tried leg side full tosses to offer easy scoring, which affected the next 2 overs also. The target jumped from 110-120 to 140+. It could have been easily gone to 160, if Shafi did not bowl that excellent last over.

Our team selection was wrong from the start of the tournament and it is not expected that we can score 140 against the Aussie pace attack on that pitch. Imrul seemed relieved and happy being able to get out. Aftab is not a batsman and bringing Ashraful to open was a usual mistake of the management. Mashrafe should have been brought in to bat when the spinners were bowling, because at that stage our batsmen were unable to clear the boundary, which Mashrafe was capable of. He is useless against quality pace attack.

The team manangement including the coach have serious problems. The coach is not professional, as he told the players do not listen to him! If the players are not listening, drop them or leave the job; but do not mention that bullcrap as an excuse.

NO one here is blaming Mash, he cannot bowl well in the death overs and batsmen know this, also his batting was atrocious. Ash bowled very well, I think that he shoud improve on his bowling and come in at Number 5 position.
Also, fans here fail to realize that BD batsmen are short and small, they were facing the 2 of the best fast bowlers in the world,who used bounce to intimidate them and it worked,, also the Aussies fielding was superb, they took all the impossible catches also. Siddons should teach them how to play the short and rising balls.
I felt that if they had faced SA like the Afghans, they might have done worst, they faced the deadliest fast bowlers in the world and scored higher than the Irish who faced less intimidating bowlers of WI.
BCB should look at their wickets, cant blame Siddons, he has been calling for bouncier wickets, because these boys do not only play at home, they play in countries that have bouncy wickets. I think the whole of BD cricket needs a good overhauling, or else, they will fail in the 2011 WC.

T20 didnt really exist under any other coach just saying. It became popular only recently.

Agree that Mash is unfit for international cricket now. He should be :outbad: of the team immediately.

JS should go, if he has lost his players. WC 2011 is probably too close to let him go. But, don't wait long afterward.

The guy has been given way many chances recently and also all his life..he always gets out 2 ridiculous shots and has not proven me wrong yet as 2 whether hes an international batsman..the guy just sucks..face it..after 80 odd ODIs and having an 18 avg against top teams is good 4 some of u then I got nuthin 2 say..ya and look at the scores riyad recently..lets do that shall we? He pulled off a 193 avg in the india-sri lanka trie series..hes been doin great only in this world cup hes flopped..and mushy batted very well against australia when every1 flopped..I dont know why people keep saying hes not T20 material..so 1 of the most technically sound batsmen should be left out?
