From the dawn of time, when the apes and the cavemen ruled the cricketing world, and the sun would rise in the west, there have always been winners and losers of a cricket match. Thats when, by mere chance, it was concluded that the biggest difference between a winning team and a lose team was the mentality that they played with. However since year 1, Bangladesh have always played cricket with diminished mental strength. When Bangladesh scores goals in the world cup, they don't celebrate like the way that greater brazilian players celebrate. They just tend to think that they aren't good enough and that the goal was just pure luck. And thats the difference between a cricketing Australian team and a Bangladeshi team. When Mitchel Johnson takes 10 wickets in a game, he celebrates like theres no tomorrow. He doesn't care about Ricky Ponting at that moment. He knows he is much better then Ponting and is more important. It doesn't matter who the captain is. However Bangladesh on the other hand, once they take wickets, they don't get too over their head. They thank everyone and thinks that they are just mere pawns in a greater game. And even when they beat India in world cup, they aren't rewarded properly. They are just too noble to take anything. I think thats what's missing from the Bangladeshi team, a killer instinct which will make them the great nation that they are.
This is my humble opinion. Thank you.
