C/mon Tapash, Rafiq...............:)

fwullah
February 1, 2004, 09:37 AM
Is Tapash and Rafique are playing today? I am not so sure that they're playing.

oracle
February 1, 2004, 09:42 AM
I am not so sure

Me too. :)

Anyway we can do some rational guesses. If those scores are true then the rr req is around 5 right for Namibia. Possible target with any other team.

I think Namibai will be all out in 150. I think the pitch in the 1st ODI was batting friendly.

fwullah

Again heading for a close finish?

golam
February 1, 2004, 11:08 AM
Yesterday, did we have the final result by now?

chinaman
February 1, 2004, 11:10 AM
NA: 183/8 after 49 overs.

So Namibia needs 22 runs in the last overs to win.

That concludes my coverage for today.

golam
February 1, 2004, 11:11 AM
We must admit bangladesherkhela is really doing a greate job updating the game. Thank you.

February 1, 2004, 11:13 AM

Even Namibia are 142/7 in 42 overs, I think BD should still win from here. I think they can reach maximum 190

JUST GREAT :):):) SORRY I MISSED YOU GUYS.

February 1, 2004, 11:19 AM
again, bangladesh cannot kill off a team. they let the 8th wicket partnership score ~41 runs in 7 overs. everytime namibia gets close like this, there are more doubts about us. This continues to suck. A 3-0 series win here means nothing, we should have dominated this team. Our second string bowlers are all crap, it's better to play rafique, tapash, monju and rana/mushfiq and put batsmen in the remaining slots. the rest of them can't bowl, i'm tired of these guys who have been playing for years now with no improvement: tareq aziz, monir, kabir, etc

Another very close call for comfort!
Somehow we managed to save our face.
Come on BD, don't play with us!

roni

rana/2 tapos/2 and rofic 1 weekets

chinaman
February 1, 2004, 11:59 AM
Well, true, we failed to dominate but looking at the score, you could see that Namibia never had a chance. The RRR was always kept high. Besides playing preparatory matches too seriously might bring on injuries.

Let's celebrate the win.
