To be honest, by intense internet surfing, telephone and some luck.

At the end of 18 overs, Namibia was 75/3 with J.B. Burger not out on 40. Fallen wickets were Riaan Walters, Danie
Keulder and Sarel Burger at that time.

February 4, 2004, 05:40 AM
The second match at United was a low-scoring game because of a very heavy outfield. Each team hit only 12 fours in that match.

February 4, 2004, 06:31 AM
Going by all these close scores I'd say this last wicket is important...cos if they don't get it they can get 16 odd in the last 2 overs...yes number eleven

37 runs from 8 overs by Tail enders!!!

James90
February 4, 2004, 06:42 AM
37 runs from 8 over in the last 10 overs of an innings is impressive even if you are bowling to tailenders

Outfield of today's ground is much faster than the ground of 2nd match. If we don't loose early wickets, we should reach the target with more than 5 overs to spare.

i donno wht other guys r feelin but i think our team has so far made the supporters bit tensed by making the first two matches so close ones..
i ud be quite happy if we cud win this one bit more convincingly... coz atleast we r a test nation now n its Namibia we're playin with!!
its probably important to hav a better confidence before BD team starts their series with Zim.

BTW, I don't like to blame anyone for slight mistakes. Statics over phone line might play few runs too.

So what's the latest score?

Sham
February 4, 2004, 09:45 AM
can we give Chinaman a break. He posts the score everytime he gets an update. There is really no use in posting a message asking for the score every few minutes. Chinaman has to call up this chap in Namibia for the score and he is trying (very successfully I might add) to balance between gathering information as often as possible and maintaining some level of decency. Lets just be a little patient and wait for him to post the score. I think that will be a good way to show our appreciation.

As someone said you are The Man.

Lost in the cricket desert of the US it is great to get some news of cricket (Bangladesh in particular).

So many times I have gotten the pitying, incredulous and "you are just crazy" look from my long-suffering wife as I sit in front of the computer refreshing circinfo live scores.

C'est la vie.

Here's to a win.
