Do you have to be a Pakistani to thank God at a time like this. What kind of a mentality do you have man??

I am sure also in your heart you must have thanked the Alimighty as well including the players of the team.

Yes, Only Pakistani people talk like that. they said Allah Hu akbar and then fixed match and took money. Bangladesh is not a extremist country like Pakistan. We are a secular country. and you are hoping only muslims will celebrate? whats wrong with Hindu and other religion?

Now what kind of mentality you have? This is a great win and it came because out great team player who work so hard for this day. Well done boys. Long Live Secular Bangladesh.

Dude! What exactly is your problem? If you don't like this thread then ignore it and post elsewhere and leave the people in this thread alone!

On the note of the topic, there is a quote "God helps those who help themselves." Thus I believe it will be absolutely wrong to just say "This is an act of Allah" completely as it was a combination of hard work and dedication and practice of good cricket and then the Almighty's blessings. So I thank Allah for his blessings for our hard working cricketers to push over the edge and win the match :)!

Why the agressiveness.

If you can not show respect then please do not spew hate. He only wanted the muslims to celebrate by praising to allah in this thread because non-muslims will not praise allah will they.

No one is stopping you from opening a thread to celebrate the success in your way so please do not come here and make the moment sour.

I am sorry i should not used to word Pakistani but I think Allah like every human being in the world ( including kiwis ) Allah cant make us win any matches. We can only win ODIs when we give our best. thanks

I do agree with you that our players's hard work paid off and a brilliant effort for winning the series.

However I think you have got some things wrong mate.

All muslims regardless of nationality would thank the Almighty at times like this. And thanking God is not a form of extremism it is a form of expression of ones belief.

I am sure you have followed the match threads and there are many mentions of Allah. I wonder how many times you have complained or called these people Pakistanis

And if you notice in my first comment I also included wellwishers apart from muslims. So you need to relax and savour the moment.

If you don't believe in Allah or God, then this is not for you. Why waste your time and energy in spending acrimony?

To all the poster here, now that you have found Allah in the good times, shall you remember him in the bad times as well? Allah is almighty and the most graceful, we shouldn't need an occasion to thank Him.

That said, Thank the almighty that we won. Subhanallah!

Let's cool off guys. I can see where Irteja is coming from, especially considering the post implicitly excludes people of other religions and beliefs. So there was fault from both sides here. I say let all Bangladeshis celebrate this great series win. Because after all, we're Bangladeshi before anything else. :fanflag:
