By the time India is done with all their series commitments... shob player will more or less carry injuries/burnout issues... That interview itself points out how bad Sehwag's injury to the shoulder is...and yet he will play the WC...

or they can be more prepared..who knows...after seeing shakib playing nonstop 4 worcs and then coming to BD and performing Vs nz it convinced me that nothing can replace match practice!...on the other hand what india does in the 20/20 wc after IPL makes ur line a correct one..may be this only applies for shakib...he is god gifted..this many non stop cricket is just sharping him more..not the indians

lol. Use to like sehwag prior to that sad stupid comment he made about BD being "ordinary" wtf was he thinking?. BD has a population of 165million people, big cricket fanbase and many hundreds if not thousands admire, follow, are fan of HIM. How will they feel him saying something like that about their own country's cricket team?. It aint nice, is it?. stupid man!

Sehwag is easily my least favorite Indian player. Even Bhajji gave credit where it was due, I never ever wish for a team to win but wish the other to win. But today I almost want India to lose more than I want NZ to win.

India won't be able to white wash NZ after all, on their way to loose today's match. That being said, BD will beat them again on Feb 19, get prepared

Honestly guys don't get too worked up over him. He just says what he has to say. He's just a straight shooter. We'll see what happens on February 19th. If we can win then that should shut him up.

I have always believed if you want to prove your worth, prove it by your action and not words. Bangladesh can reply his comment once again on Feb 19th which will have a far intense effect than mere words. ^ as the above post says, that should shut him up.

yes including yourself. I dont really care about this one bit and I know damn well how our fans will/did make such a big deal out of it. But hey thats what fans are for. So you can relax with your "get a life already".

Who cares!

Sehwag, by his comment, is undermining India's effort. It needed a life-best effort from Yusuf to win the last match.

Going by the Bangla word by word quote, if indeed its the original quote, then he actually compliments us. Some of us are jumping at Shehwag's shadow here. He is basically saying he can see why we have beaten the Kiwi's 4-0, after their inept performance in ODI's vs India. In simple term, BD > NZ in ODI's- that's what he is saying. That's a huge up for us and I will take it as a compliment . Lets not be snobs here. We haven't done nothing yet..

Honestly, we are over the top sometimes. We can all agree that theres a lot of Indian bashing here in BC. So DJ being Indian, obviously won't like it when we attack an Indian player. And in this case, Sehwag didnt even say much. Some of these fans are ajaira.

Virendar Shehwag didn't say anything bad, everyhting he said are actually true, you know and I know.

Bangladesh is an "ordinery" team, isn't it?
We won our home series against NZ 4-0, great, but did we stream rolled them? What does this 4-0 really prove, have we become an invincible superstar team of cricket?

Yes, NZ was BAD and BD taking full advantage of that and securing all of the 4 matches in this condition is first sign, early signs of BD on it's way to becoming a stronger cricket team. In the past many big team, weak team played bad against us and we still lost, now through this NZ white-wash we are beginning to see or hope that we can beat a better, higher ranked team if they play badly against us, and by this 4-0 result we are just simply hoping that we would become consistant in winning games AT THIS LEVEL (and in favourable condition).

And I can see V Shehwag's comment as a compliment like Beamer bhai said.

Guys Shehwag er kono dosh nai, Sob Dosh Ashraful er.

How?

I know he didn't contribute much in that worldcup 2007 match against India. But Somehow he was there with Mushi at the end and until our famous victory. And most noticeably his smile at the time a billion Indian fans were crying! Look , don't you guys now a days hate to see Ashraful smile? So whats the problem if indians hate his smile too?

Its not actually his smile, it's the way he was smilling, burned Shehwag's head so badly that he started speaking against us in every opportunity he gets

They probably will because ICC needs a strong show from India to attract more and more sponsorship.
This is pure logic

I hate Shewag so much, but I dont think he said something wrong, Just look at the NZ team. The way they are loosing against the B stream india team match by match we need to do our reality check instead of harshly criticizing his comment.
