After coming back from injury,we were expecting to get back our old Tamim & here he is the top scorer of the series with 162 runs, average 40.50,SR 89.01:notworthy:

Eventhough for today's innings people might say he was lucky but let's not forget the 2(questionable) LBW decisions which went against him in this series.

btw, don't know if he has managed to lift his ODI avrge to 30,not according to cricinfo but the avrge of cricinfo & avrge shown on TV are never the same.:info:

Anyway,once again :bravo: & keep it up.:fanflag:

ps:shld hv scored that hundred thgh.:(

7 Sixes in one innings by Tamim is the most in any international format by Bangladeshi batsmen

Congrats on the comeback we've all wanted.
But should have must have had that century.
That shot he played to get out probably tells he is yet to be a polished product. He should have known better.
Centuries doesnt come this easy always;.

he is still not delivering even his 50%, throwing away wickets as usual. We need bigger contribution from him to challenge bigger opponents.

Someone needs to tell him when he is 90s you should just take century and reduce the risky shoot.

^^ya but I think Tamim is the most successful btsmen in terms of scoring centuries when he is on 90s.
When did we see him getting out on 90s?I don't remembr.this is the 1st time cause he doesn't value much a 100 vs ZIm(which isn't right),he was rather keen to continue his heroics & please the crowd, besides his clean 7 sixes must hv made him overconfidnt.
But I'm sure if it was against a Test team he wld hv changed gears as he did before.

Half of his innings was hardly solid. yes entertaining, but he was really lucky.

I rekon the day Tamim Iqbal achieves a not out in an ODI match is the day he beats the world record for the most runs achieved in a ODI match

Even though i enjoyed all those 6's, am not sure if that's the proper way to play. He went back to his old self where he used to come down the wickeet to score any boundaries. Before his surgery he was able to hit those 6's without comming down the line ... well wtv it is 95 with seven 6's is awesome

I agree. He will definitely cross 200 if he bats the full 50 overs, don't think he's got the stamina for it, but how entertaining would that be?!

tamim didnt have a strong comeback, before this injury it did seem he worked on his technical deficiencies however, this game we got to see that he has gone back to his old ways, he has gone back to his old ways of being a one dimensional player, all his shots has been running down the track and having a huge heave. Tamim is a talent I sincerely pray he goes back to his old ways when he was a multi dimensional attacking player.

You have to understand that this was the slowest outfild in the world : almost IMPOSSIBLE to hits a Four , Zimbabwe takes 24 overs to hit their first four
that why tamim goes for Six
