this espn site is apparently broadcasting the world cup for 30 USD, a quarter of willow's price. best of all its espn, so its legal and legit.
however, it appears to be not available in all locations - i can't get it, but my friend in sweden can.
let me know if this works.
btw, can i use it if i get a proxy to change my IP addy?

by the look of it it doesn't look like legal to me. beside i know for a fact that online only willow tv has the permission in N America.

yeah this is not for USA. but I wonder if you can do the IP thing and watch it? btw it says your region not your internet provider so I doubt that it will let you do that.

I'm using Evercric for $34.99. They will also have all games and the openning ceremony recorded as well so anyone can watch them anytime as they please, like DVR. They also provide link that can be used with "yxplayer2 lite" player on any smart phone. But for some reason my yxplayer2 lite player does not load on my iPhone4 even though I downloaded the player from iTune, not sure if the problem is with my phone or the player itself.
I just bought the package last night and yet to try it out, so please don't quote me on it. But from the demo the quality seems as good as ESPN 360 in US.

Buy jadoo (from any BD store) and it works like jadoo.
I am watching all the games live from last December.

This is going to be a tough call. Willow is the legal source but its just too expensive. As Betaar vai suggested, I might also go with evercric.
I have heard a lot about Jadoo. How is the quality? Could someone please confirm. If the quality is good then I'll buy it tonight from Jackson Heights..

Let then sue and coiunter sue, in the mean time we will continue to watch and poisha will be hojom and khel will be khotom (i..e judgement and channels will be closed).
Jadoo2 is being sold all deshi the stores in DC, also they have agent and stores althrough USA.
btw most the channles they are showing is internet based and streaming somewhere from Europe (not from USA).

One time cost of $250 for the box for life. No additional cost per month after that.

SS bhai kothayee ache na....no pain (small dent in the wallet), no gain (after that watching free for life).
This box will help you hookup with TV. It support HDMI even though input quality is not even close to that level for most of the channels.
but yes $250 is not chele Khela. So think about your choices and your priorities before comitting.

its espn's official website, meaning its owned/operated by them. legal or not, willow can't touch them, they are the "worldwide leader in sports". willow suing them would be like BCB trying to sue the BCCI.

I have one for a few years too and it really is Jadoo! The quality is nothing great but with a reliable wi-fi source buffering is a rarity and it is just great :)! In North America the price went up from $150 to $200 to $250 for the regular Jadoo TV now. They might hike the price due to the World Cup. And kindly don't buy into their "Jadoo HD for just @100 more" thing...its all the same /:)!
Worry not about the jontro pati, baritey internet thaklei hoilo =)! And if you want some subcontinental channels, this thing will last you a lifetime and not just this World Cup! You can future games too (some of Bangladesh even). So it is a good investment SS Bhai :smug:! I say you go for it :-D!

From all these 16 pages long customers' comments it looks like it is a device to rip off people.
