I'm not sure this is the usual thing to happen here or i'm to ask for. I'm asking nevertheless. As game goes on can people from bangladesh continuously (may be hour interval or so) update the score here? that would be a big favore to people like us

Please let us know the score anyone who is watching. Is there any website for live score ?

Welcome to the board, adnan.

Unfortunately there is no website for the live score. Hopefully someone from our 300+ members will collect the scores over phone or some other means and post it here. So hang on and check back more often. Cheers.

Since this thread is similar in name to another thread, I'll merge them together in few min. Cheers.

An honest confession.

Before bangladesh's test status, I used to support various teams based on the match mood and the indvidual players I liked. Now, since bangladesh got into the big boys league, I can't support any other team but bangladesh. Whatever may be their condition. And since then heartbreak continues, but I believe you all agree, we have high hopes.

How about an upset against India, at Dhaka, next india tour? I am sure the current govt would declare national holiday for atleast 7 days.

Wake up, it is just a dream!

cheers!

Man Sadhat bhai what are you talking about? I like his support for the Muslims and why shouldn't we support each other? We should be happy to see him here and the reason he talked about the other non-muslims in Pak is because Shubho pointed out that we have two non-muslims in the team. Having players from other religions in the team doesn't matter at all as they belong to the same nation. In BD people from different religion have learnt to live together in peace and harmony, yes we have much better condition than Pakistan or India.

great maybe we can beat them by 1 wicket. i hope scotland won the toss and decided to bat - otherwise whose idea was it to send them into bat when we could have tried to score 500 today?

Ehsan
February 17, 2004, 12:58 AM
95 allout is a pretty good bowling display. Whats up with the batsmen? How the heck we lost a wicket for ONLY 2 runs in the first over? Hopefully its not Nafis who got out.

fwullah
February 17, 2004, 01:04 AM
I think our bowling was quite erratic, for 3 overs, there were 1 run for 1 wicket and then in the next 1 over there was 6-10 runs for no wicket.

After seeing the performance of Scotland in their two matchest it is clear to me that they are similar to our local occasional (usually the occasion is hartal) cricket teams.
It's illogical to be excited seeing such victory against Scotland.

However, bangladesherkhela.com forum has a little more detail of scores of bangladeshi batsmen.

billah

It is what it is. India couldn't bowl them out, we did. Scots scored 155/8, playing all 50 overs with India. One of them even scored 62 runs. India's bowling, with the absense of Irfan, may be weak. We have to form a strategy to take advantage of this weakness.

To go on to the Super League,

we need to beat India and so does NZ. That would take us there.

Or,

We beat India, India beats NZ and it comes down to the highest runrate between the three teams. It is good that our loss to NZ was so close.

Bottom line:

We need to beat India and beat them well if possible. We'll know better exactly what we need to do after tomorrow's NZ v India game. Lets see what our boys can do.
