The 6 NCL T 20 teams were sold at an average price of 65 Lakh Taka's i.e $90,000. However an evaluation done by a sports marketing company were shocked at the price offered. According to them the price these teams could have fetched BCB would have been $700,000 or 5.33 Crores. HENCE WE DEVALUED OUR FRANCHISEE BY 8 TIMES. We earned 6 but we could have earned 49. Pathetic corrupt BCB

The company took the following factors for its evaluation
1. Interest in Cricket
2. Population
3. Per capita income
4. No of teams in league
5. People below poverty line
6. Security Factors
7. Infrastructure

The base for calculation was the price fetched in IPL. Rememeber the first 8 teams fetched an average 80M$ and last 2 fetched on average 350M $.

It also did an evaluation on some other countries and found the result as follows
Country (No of Franchisee, Expected Price)
1. Sri Lanka (6 Franchisee, 4 M$)
2. Pakistan (6 Franchisee, 5.6 M$)
3. USA (8 Franchisee,2.1 M$)
4. Australia(8 Franchisee,81.8 M$)-They sold stake of 2 teams, 33% for 25 M$, hence their evaluation is quite good)
5. England(18 Franchisee, 22.1 M$)
6. Canada (5 Franchisee, 2.7 M$)

An evaluation was even calculated for Nepal and Afghanistan as cricket is really popular there
1. Nepal (8 Franchisee, 38000$)
2. Afghanistan (6 Franchisee, 8000$)

Coming back to the topic, selling our franchisee 8 times undervalue is simply pathetic. Think how much could this money have helped us. We got 3.9 Crore Taka where as we could have got 32 Crore Taka. SIMPLY PATHETIC

The franchises wasn't sold, more like rented out for just one year. Plus need source because this only seems alarmist
