lol....sorry ziad bhai....dekhi nai !

I think, as this person still works in a public university (jahangirnagar), he is not allowed to make such statement. and it was brought up by Jahangirnagar uni students. that is why court has nothing but to ask for proper action against this person.

The motive of some of the rulings of (.....put appropriate words here :) ) are questionable. It does not look like they are working independently.

Afraid of getting slapped with a contempt of court charge?

The society in Bangladesh has gotten increasingly intolerant of contrary views. Opposing viewpoints are being legislated out. Like George Orwell's 1984, we have our 1974. Are we heading there?

In my humble opinion Mr. [বাংলা]মুহাম্মদ রুহুল আমীন খন্দকার[/বাংলা] shouldn't have said what he said regarding the PM in a place like Facebook as a public announcement when he was a [বাংলা]খণ্ডকালীন প্রভাষক[/বাংলা] and still employed by the [বাংলা]জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়[/বাংলা] which is a top public institution and the PM is still his boss, so there is the question of insubordination (spell)....and now it is a matter of freedom of speech and freedom of his individual beliefe, understanding, bias, desire, but it is still very UNclassy for a [বাংলা]খণ্ডকালীন প্রভাষক[/বাংলা], I assume means Provost? \chair? at least a professor, a teacher of a major leading national research university, one of the highest sacred places of inelects and scholarly minds in the country to just utter comments like that about wishful death of another person. It is indeed very very sad and it is unbearable that two of the great minds, great artist, thinkers for Bangladesh (Munir and Mashud), along with 3 other good individuals perished in a road accident, it is a failure of the transportation/roads and highway dept.s of the government and the government is responsible for providing basic safety and security to the citizens, so it is frustrating and angersome BUT still I cannot just go around demanding or wishing death upon the current PM or the previous PM or the opposition leaders and the perliament and the leaders and start writing "Mor shalara Mor"....I can, because I am bujheekom, I am a nobody, but that professor on a public place like facebook, that was very irresponsible, childish and silly. Yes, roads are bad in Bangladesh and the authority is incompetent and unreliable and the majority of contractors/builders are theives in Bangladesh, BUT that is not the only reason people are dying (spell) everyday on the roads of Bangladesh. It is the very basic mindset, the mental, psychological understanding, the very basic conscience (spell), the sense of humanity, the souls of our people, the rational in our people that IS MISSING in mass and that is the reason we go about killing so many lives and NOT feel anything inside...That is the reason we do not drive within our own lane in the city of Dhaka even....My younger brother is from NSU BBA and now he is doing MBA, he drives in Dhaka, has a lisence, I do not know if he passed the driivng exam or not, BUT I do know he doesn't drive within his own lane on the airport raod even if there is no other cars around him forcing him to derail from his lane on the road. He says, "bhaiya nobody here follows these lanes...all these white lines on the asphaults are meaningless....people will laugh at you if you are driving within your lane"....this is the reason we kill and we die....All the bus drivers, truck drivers and auto drivers in modern history of Bangladesh that crashed, hit and ran, killed or got killed on the road, I can guarantee , they did not do that due to, a pothole, a lack of a turning, curvy sign or due to the lack of a Stop sign at the 4 raod crossings, a lack of signal light or the lack of a train crossing barrier/baash whatever. They caused the accident beacuse they drive with their eyes and basic human brain function shut down/closed! And I do not know why drivers in Bangladesh do that, what makes a human being who sits behind a driving wheel (steering) acts that way. I do not understand how come if for noone else, how come they do not care for their OWN safety and welfare!

Thank you Naimul....and also we as people, I see us very dillusional and irrational being...I saw after every accident in BD the surviving (often the culprit, whose stupidity caused the accident in the first place) drivers, helpers run from the accidnet scene....so their basic survival instinct is still intact, he is not crazy, he knows he needs to run in order to survive now, but/then what was going through his mind before the accident? I see us a people who are very short-sighted, we only live and want to survive just for the moment, there is NO long term goal or plan, in the individual, Government or group or social effort. Everything we do, is a quick fix, just for today, today we are eating biriyani, so we are fine, wonderful, tomorrow we might be starving and begging on the street, we do not and can not, incapable of think ahead, see ahead and sense the storm, the 'sharp turn' that is coming ahead....you see it is the reflection of the drivers mindset in our roads and highways, it happens in every aspect of our lives.. We steal and murder, because we can get away with it today, and due to this crime we will live today and even maybe tomorrow but we do not think that we shall fall and the wheel will turn the day after and then what is our plan, we have none, then we depend on someone else' mercy. We are in constant denial and we bullshit ourselves the most.
