View Full Version : Let him breathe

OK, one more test for sumon is over, and he fails once again. just look at this:

U think its still not enough? We need more experiment with sumon? Doesn't matter whatever time has ellaspe, i'm already certain that sumon is having problem with breathing after having the weight of captency on him. Too early, higest captency change rate, he deserve it, lets see.......all excuses. i don't believe in any of them anymore. Its just not for him. There is a shallowless in his charactaristic glued in him. Being responsible or coping with a responsible job is just not for him. let him set free and play his usual fifties.

Carte Blanche

What are you suggesting then? Relieve him off captaincy duties? We don't have anyone else in the team who can do his job now. And we definitely don't want that "allrounder" Sujon back in the team. Sumon hasn't captained enough for us to raise an eyebrow on his leadership skills yet. Besides, as a batsman, he is an integral part of the team, someone we can not do without. Therefore, dropping him is out of question. As far as the captaincy having a bad influence on his batting is concerned, I believe its just a bad patch he is going through. He is good enough a batsman to recover this. He will be amongst runs soon enough.

I believe rafiq can be a better replacement for him. He has the ability and will not face a "bat patch" because of captancy.

...And what happens when rafique loses his form too?

itz better we don't have any captain lolzz :P

bowlers are very unlikely to loose form because of captency. i never heard of any terms like 'ball patch' ever.

What about Sujon? Durjoy? Aren't they all bowlers?

Besides, there's no term as 'ball patch', the word 'bad' from the term 'bad patch' comes from 'bad form', not 'bat - anything'.

let sumon be captain for now. and they keep playing. we leave any hope for win or any performance from sumon. then, what we play for? we play to make rajin or rana experienced. then, make one of them captain and start the mission. i mean i don't really see a good choice of captain right now, other than rafiq (if u started to cross off a name at a time the bottom name will be rafiq, but that doesn't mean u can choose him as captain). and if we keep it as is, sumon performance will be as is. so i don't see any other option but to play for making captains, and then start to think for win. without a key player's performance team like bangladesh can't win, and sumon will not perform as long as remains captain.
