What a day! Only we know how to lose winning matches in such spectacular fashion. The three 'seniors' came out to bat in beach mode. Luck was never with us. And then bad umpiring to kill it off. The whole day ruined.

They can't chase 177, then wtf can they chase? what score is comfortable for them? 150? 100? how about 50 or maybe even 20? Is 20 low enough?!!?!?!?!?! I hate this s**t!!

Jadukor
December 6, 2011, 09:13 AM
can't believe we screwed this up... we were 69/1 to 119 all out
a collapse of epic proportions.

over the last 5 years we haven't managed a single specialist batsman who is consistent while all other teams have at least 2 or 3 of them.

We have a team that can't chase 177 in a 50 over match, we give up mentally anything over 200...and we expect to compete on an international level?! Get real guys...there are teams who score 300+ and nowadays 270 is a par score in odi's, this means the only teams we can win against are zimbabwe and ireland...oh wait :-|

-68/1 to 83/6

We deserved to get shown up for the rank amateurs we are, and Pakistan has happily obliged. The difference in class will only be more pronounced in the upcoming tests.

How long this torture will countinue?
How long we will lose an easy wining match?
How long it will take us to produce a match winner (real tiger) ?
How long it will take us to improve our domestric structure or whatever which developes a real TIGER?
How many years and shameless humiliated defeat we will embrace untill we get rid of all this corrupt, money hunger, bluddy politicians from sports and our beloved country?

ORRRRRRR we will remain losers as cricket team for forever no matter what we do???????

Pakistan is a good team and playing really good cricket atm but you can't ignore bd's failures.I believe it's not Pakistan won ,we gift them win.

Kamal Mustafa, Is sad that the fans cant do anything, But its also shocking that Indian fans can and the players always under pressure becuase they know what the fans did for losing againt bangladesh... What do we do to get ride of Mustafae = Nofthing. If you have been watching football lately you should have seen that when Fans are disappointed the manager goes or even the owner.

Bhai, Even if Pak score 100 runs, we would have lost. This are list of crap Players, Mushfiq, Imrul, Alok,... Change those players with Rajin Saleh for Test, Anamul and Asif... if we want to keep on losing then why not try them and find another Nasir?

I missed today's match, but I managed to catch the highlights. So sad really. It's almost like watching a circus only that the clowns aren't funny in this case. So many questions and no answers:
Why make such a slow, low turning wicket when the batters from the home team are struggling?
Is Stuart Law doing his job?
Do our batters have brains?
Is Tamim useless or what?

I'm seriously hurt tbh. This game was there for the taking and those bolods blew it. Those guys must be allergic to winning.
I get even more worried about the upcoming Tests...

Just watched the highlights

http://www.crichotline.com/pakistan-vs-bangladesh-3rd-odi-highlights-chittagong-2011/

Points to note :

- We had 6 unlucky chances to get a Pakistani wicket incl. umpire fault and narrow misses
- Sunny is not a good choice for ODI's - he got hammered badly
- Shafiul needs to stop doing short deliveries
- Why didn't Nasir ball from the left hand side to the left handers like Sakib did ? He balled from the right hand side and got hammered!
- We don't know how to negotiate spin balls when batting
- We were 69-1 and then crashed to 119 all out
- SN has technique issues.
- Most of our dismissals were from spin balling and soft catches
- Crowd was chanting 'VUA VUA' when Mushfiq was called to say a few words at presentation ceremony

Experience, only experience and ability to handle pressure time, we are lacking two of this things very badly.

What do you mean by experience ? Most of the players in team are well experienced by age, tough match situations, amount of matches they played and playing against good bowling attack. Two or 3 years ago we all used to say and accept that our team is still young and not experienced playing in abroad or G8 but not anymore.

Experience means to learn from your previous mistakes and when you are in this situation not do it again but our players are doing same mistakes again and again.I doubt even Nasir will follow others. This may be because of bad influence from rest of the bolods or slowly accepting defeat as everyday reality other word defeated mindset.

I don't think it's lack of experience or ability to handle pressure that is behind our failures but players lack of ability to play well in international arena. One win in 10 matches or one good innings in 100 matches only expose our inability or near fluke innings and upset not real result.

Pakistan playing really good cricket eventhough they had ,have so many problems. It shows how much talented side they are.Obiously our players and we bdeshi aren't as talented as our's neighbours. Our only solution is : 1st to get rid of all this corrupt politicians from BCB and bring someone who has knowledge, passion, love, enthusiasm as much as many BC fans.2nd to improve domestic structure and develop real tigers. Then we might be able to see sun is shining behind thick clouds.

:up::up::up::clap::clap::clap:

This was great stuff. The blame goes to the top people and that is our board. If you have a bad board you're gonna have a bad team. That's just plain and simple. There is a reason why teams like Australia, South Africa, India and England are all top level teams. Say all you want about BCCI. They don't do many things other people like but they do what's good for their cricket. BCB? Well these guys like playing politics more then helping our cricket. As long as these bad eggs are there, our cricket will continue to be inconsistent. There are plenty of knowledgeable people in BD who could do a great job looking over our cricket. Once we get rid of the politicians and we get people that actually know what their doing, then we'll see improvements, but question is when will this happen and will it happen?

Completely agree with you two. Our poor FC structure is just a proof of that. No wonder the players don't show any respect to the management as they know how corrupt these people are. Have you guys watched the movie "Moneyball" ?? We need someone like Billy Beane for a miracle to take place in our cricket. One honest, dedicated and hard working person at the top will do the trick. But we know it very well that the good people are never going to get those positions because the bad and the ugly simply won't let that happen. As a result we wont ever come out of this vicious circle unless may be we fans go on a hunger strike :)
