Can I suggest a solution to BC cricket?

Appointment of overseas President or CEO, with powers to implement changes. This way they have no 'local' agenda or vested business interest but just the paid role of improving the structures.

Executive Board to include overseas experts in cricket development alongside BD members, so that no BD board members can veto a decision.

In each department, the head of such is an overseas/foreign appointment who makes all the final decisions purely based on what is right for BD cricket.

Plans to be drawn up for presentation and agreed by all department heads so the aim is at the same goal.

The rest of the detail can follow (investment, facilities, infrastructure, coaching) but there's no point doing that unless people are in agreement with what should happen.

Only experts in planning and cricket development can save BD.

Bangladesh Government is unwilling to appoint anyone other than political leaders, even their own Saber is unable to get the post, let alone someone overseas. I guess we just have to wait until BCB is forced to elect the leader. Once that comes, probably in another 3-4 years we will begin to see really qualified people being elected (the first one or two will still be government backed).

So another 5 years of suffering.

yes well having the powers at be being non-bias would help, experts that know what they're talking about, but as said above that's not likely to happen anytime soon.

We had an overseas CEO (Macky Dudhia), so it is not so far fetched.
I think the pressure has to come externally, from ICC. My feeling is, based on the current situation the pressure is already on. BCB has never been such a mess before.

The thing is, al sagar bhai, that with Bangladesh CEO, directors, managers, coaches and physios, we have created the current BD players and expectation of BD fans.

The first sign of madness is doing the same things with the same people and expecting different results.

What makes you think that the game will be any different with the new leadership, when it comes?
